Ring of Trees

Noah's rugged frame stood at the center of a circle of swaying trees. His messy polar white hair slapped daintily against his cheeks from the breeze. Dark hues scanning this arena cautiously as Noah calculated the size of the field. He was on a terrain of dry grass, with a circle of trees surrounding it. If someone had a ruler and extended it directly across the field, from one tree to another, they would see that there was approximately 12 yards from one side to another. Other than that, this place had a pretty harmonious atmosphere, with its gentle breeze.

Noah's hands had white-gloves pressed tight against his flesh, and his left hand lands lethargically upon the hilt of his katana, Jikeidan'in. This time, Noah came a tad more prepared than usual. This armor was a light load, enwrapped over Noah's brawny build, with runes inscribed upon the black design to ultimately increase the user's chance to overcome their opponent. Hip-hugging denim falls neatly over Noah's legs, tucked in to his high-boots. His whole outfit had runes upon its very decor to provide him some extra abilities.

Slender digits carving the pretty pattern upon the handle of Jikeidan'in, Noah's eyes turned a piercing sky blue. All he needs now is his opponent.

Walking out through the swaying trees coming from the right side of Noah 10 Feet away of him wearing his black leather pants and white nithredeal armor, his long silver hair cascading over his slender shoulders. Strapped upon his two sheaths around his waist his two twin blade scimitar's and placed comfortably upon the back of his sheath his sword Har'dro. He paused and set his gaze upon his opponent knowing now who it is to be Noah someone whom he recently met when he first came here.

As he steadied himself both his hands seem to be clenching together as if cracking them, and tensing his muscles his mind body and spirit as he begin to mentally prepare himself for this oncoming battle as energy seem to surround him. His feet begun to glow brightly as it's aura grew around his body slowly building up. '' I was wondering when I would eventually get to face you, it would have proved a miracle if I have not got into some form of a sparring competition '' Cirdan spoke calmly towards Noah though he was not angry against it actually he was hoping for some fun for a change.

Intense hues trained upon his opponent of the day, Cirdan, Noah would concentrate upon the battlefield. There was the tiniest stir in movements around them, then Noah shifted his attention elsewhere. The kinetic energy was being manipulated, thus increasing the temperatures as the atoms' moved farther apart. It was getting Noah all hot and bothered. The energy from their surroundings would flow directly towards Noah's katana, Jikeidan'in. The blade seemed to wiggle eagerly in its sheath as Noah passed his tongue over his dry lips to moisten it.

Noah took some steps, swinging closer towards Cirdan, closing the gap for about two yards. The battlefield was small, so it wouldn't take long for them to reach each other.

Cirdan paused and gazed at Noah for a moment, he took out his sword Har'dro as if the sword it self responded to it's touch the blade of the sword glowed in a white light around it as he moves the sword down upon the ground, As he begins to absorb the ground below energy sucking it out of the ground and into the sword it self (not the wielder of the sword ) He watched Noah close in the gap between him and the other side, he moved several inches more towards his opponent as his sword continue to take in the energy from the ground it self he got into a defensive position once more , as he continued to keep the blade it self pointed down upon the ground allowing the sword to take in as much energy as it needed. '' This should be fun '' He said calmly and he bowed slightly before Noah '' Good Luck I do hope I can give you a run for your money, and perhaps put on a good show for those viewing the fight from afar. ''

As Cirdan drew his blade and stabbed it upon the ground at such a close range, the runes upon Noah's boots glowed faintly. His whole outfit was provided for him by an old friend who specialized in crafting cunning items. The runes' illumination was barely noticable, really, save for the fact that Noah started to levitate off the ground and into the air, about twenty feet above Cirdan. Noah had drawn his sword as he levitated, so his weapon was ready.

The area around them stirred once more, and this time Noah would make it quite obvious that he's using the telekinetic prowess granted to him by his sword to lift the trees off the ground. Their roots were jerked directly from the ground, and the trees were tugged forward towards Cirdan. Each tree was about ten feet high, so Noah wouldn't be much affected by it from his height. Noah used a part of his consciousness to focus on his pyrokinesis, which he had inherited from his mother, causing about one third of the trees to go up in flames. Noah's telekinesis rushed the speed of which the trees flew towards Cirdan, about 50 miles per hour. The circle of burning trees closed in towards Cirdan. Unfortunate for Noah's opponent, Cirdan was almost at the edge of the ring of trees,[maybe his back was a few inches from actually touching a tree] since all the while it was mostly Noah who closed in the distance. It was improbable that the man could jump high enough to avoid the trees, and the impact of the force could crush Cirdan, enough to win the fight for Noah by killing his opponent, whatever.

Cirdan watched Noah as he begin to float upon the air, his eyes moved on the trees as he noted them jerking out of position as if controlled by some unknown force but instincts told him that his opponent was using some sort of spell to get them to move. He quickly moved forward away from the trees behind him knowing somehow that this one would effect all of them around him since Har'dro could cut through any material he focused his blade on the normal tress that did not have any fire upon them, and rushed towards the regular trees as he slashed his sword downward the blade striking the bark of the tree cutting through it like butter almost.

The gathered energy he held within his sword he twisted his body and unleashed the energy he had within the sword it self unleashing it in forms of spheres as about 20 some spheres crashed against the trees that were in flames causing them to explode before the trees hit him, Cirdan would move quickly as he did this though one of the tree branches did scrape him while he hacked his sword wildly upon the reminding trees, though he barely flinched at the pain. He paused and looked up at Noah as he floated 20 Feet above him. He chanted something in his native tongue as the wind around him begin to blow upon the arena at about 60 mph as the speed of the wind continued to increase, in hopes that he be able to use that to knock his opponent out of the air or at least knock him out in general he steaded himself as he gripped Har'dro tightly upon his right hand getting into a defensive position.

Noah had anticipated this much. As Cirdan made the moves to cut through a single tree with his sword, like a hot knife through butter, Noah tapped into the mana he had gathered from the surroundings into Jikeidan'in. Pinpointing his mark meticulously, Noah used his katana's prowess from the magical runes and blessed rubies to negate one of his opponent's assaults. It was just basically Noah pulling in enough energy from the surroundings, thus it would equal out with his opponent's charged energy in his own sword. If an equal amount of energy hits, both are canceled out. Therefore, Noah sent the concentrated energy, barely moving physically as the negating power spun outwards like some sort of tidal wave. This would equal out with the energy gathered in Cirdan's sword, so even as the man attempted to create whatever to stop the trees, it would do nothing. Cirdan wouldn't really notice the canceling of his own mana, since it was done in such a subtle way. Perhaps he would notice when he saw his defenses weren't doing a thing. Time had already passed as Cirdan tried to save himself, and ultimately failed. The trees rushed in, closing in the distance, and thus, would be adequate to destroy Cirdan.
