Fellow Role-Players, how long have you waited? How long have you waited, hoping for a miracle to fall out of the sky? How long have you chased after a dream, then wake up one day to realize that you aren't getting there? Those are the paths that are taken most often. "To accomplish what no one has been able to, we must tread a path no one has ever dared to imagine." It doesn't matter where you came from. As Role-Players, we all hope. The hope to bring it all back exists, no matter how dim that spirit is. We must stand together, for so much has been taken from us. We must make do with what little we have left. Ultimately, we have what is most important, but least valued. We still have each other. Look at us divide. Look at us destroy one another, and walk off on separate goals that lead to nowhere. Each of us will be a brick of a house. The strong supports the weak; the weak do what they can. Each part is significant to our success. "Only the bold create miracles." We must create our own path, and fight for it until the end. This will be a long, difficult process, but those processes will be the most rewarding, in the end. We had a past. Our history should be valued and passed on. But we also need a future. We have to fight for it. There is no honour greater than fighting, and dying for Aenied. The dawn of a new beginning, has arrived.
A trumpet sounds; this is the call for all brethren throughout the land to unite, and bring aid to those in need. The world has fallen about us; crumbles of what was once loved lost. Debree cast about; memories lying on the ground to be etched away from our minds as elements take their toll. The time has come for the comrades of Eden to come togethor; to start anew. Morals have been lost, as have innocent lives. Plagued by bandits, and those with evil spirits, Eden has fallen amuck to those which it vowed to protect its own citizens against. The land had been plagued by war, and now disease. What was left of this beloved land, other than rubble? Heroes.
Rising from the rubble as the Phoenix does from the ashes, the heroes of Eden had been called. The sounding of the trumpet; sound by some lonesome soothsayer, have he no name, rang out through the trees, the rocks, the sea, and the wind. Right unto the ears of the lineage, the true lineage of the once great Eden. The Soothsayer continued to sound the trumpet, and a raspy voice bellowed out throughout the land. " Come, brethren; renew thine own courtesy. Owe you not only to yourselves, but to this great land; to bring it anew. Bring it a new name, and new structures! Bring with you new morals, and new values! Build it not out of magic, nor sorcerey! Build it only with thine own muscles, and bare the wood finishing of the sweat upon thy brow! Build this land, begin today, and life shall spring before the Ides of February. "
With the speech of the Soothsayer and the calling issued, recipients of the message traveled with haste throughout the land of Eden, trampling upon horseback and foot towards one central meeting place; the grand hall. Formerly used for meetings of the Eden Council, this was a sacred and historic place. It was now to be restored, and restorations went quickly under-way. Soon after, the fall of Eden had be anewed, as foreshadowed by the Soothsayer. However, with new values, morals, inhabitants, and laws, came a new name; Aenied. A kingdom restored upon the word of one anonymous man; who bares no mark, no name, no face. Prepared before the Ides of February, only time shall tell if the restored, new kingdom shall flourish with life, as its mother had.
