T1 Rules: T1 is a turned-based style in which players take turns doing long descriptive posts in an attempt to put your opponent into a position in which they can not dodge and are forced to take the hit. In the first post you most do an introduction stating what your character looks like, how they arrived to the place they are fighting, why they are there, a little bit about them, weapons and powers they have. Also if you are posting first and no setting is designated you can choose to make the setting. The setting can often be used to your advantage to over whelm and beat your opponent. After you get past the intros, both players needing to post one, the player who first posted then attacks. In the attack you must state how you are attacking where you are attacking to, and the desired effect of the attack, though you can never say your attack hits. You can never say you hit, move, kill, or do anything that will directly effect your opponent without giving them a chance to counter or avoid this effect. This means everything should be in a what if, or if so format like:
- Code:
-
-He moves his right hand out as his left leg shifts forward, his right hand moving to the gut of the man, if the hand would hit the mans gut it would push in hitting his kidneys making him piss blood.-
If you are going to have an attack that is more then one paragraph long make sure you use the same connection rules for Para RP. <C> ~C~ (c) {C} [C] or anything along that form. Once you have posted the amount you want end it with an E or D in any of those forms. Some people may use other things as well. If you are not sure make sure to ask. This is probably one of the number one rules to T1. If you do not know or do not understand ask, they have to explain their actions and so on to your understanding, if they can’t then they can be voided. As well as this you should never Godmode. My definition of godmoding is lighter then most. Godmoding includes being able to do anything, making an attack that is unstoppable, having a defense that can’t be broken through and autoing someone. Autoing is an action that does something to your opponent without giving them the proper chance to react or respond.
In a defensive based post, you must state that you dodge all of your opponent’s attacks, dodge block or counter. After you do so you must then post an attack. By Eden rules your dodge has to be half of the persons attack. While by Ayenee rules you could do a dodge post in a semi Para format to someone’s 5 Para post attack. Remember in a dodge post for T1 make sure you cover every possibility and never over look anything, something like that can end your RP life.
Now that we have went over general T1 we will go into the subtypes.
T1 PC: T1 PC is probably what would be called basic T1; it lets you do everything from magic to weapons to hand-to-hand combat. PC has no true limits or possibilities, which mean it, can often be over whelming. While PC originally started as casting fire balls and summoning it has now moved on to thinks like theoretical and quantum physics. T1 can go from being extremely to being nearly impossible and impossible to understand in a matter of hours depending on how you choose to fight and how much you know.
T1 Melee: T1 Melee is basically the same thing as PC but now no magic or powers are allowed, so it gets down to guns hack and slash actions and things along that line.
T1 Realistic Melee: This Version of T1 Melee is based on things that only real humans can do. You can still have guns and swords just no jumping really high or super speed or whatever.
T1 Innate ((Racial & Item)): This style of T1 is like realistic melee just only with magical items or special abilities that your character might have due to race. Although Racial Innate really isn’t too much more then normal Melee though normal Melee, if done right, can have an Item innate quality to it.
T1 H2h: Okay this is like getting down to the simplest version of T1. Basically all you are allowed to do is punch, kick, grapple, throw, and things a long that line. No weapons are allowed unless you are going to use something you find on the ground, and no special powers are allowed, as well as this it is also like realistic melee and must be stuff that only a real human can do. ((Thank god we have some really amazing humans out there huh?))
