Old Friends

Noah was getting stressed out. Images flashed before his eyes with his paradigm strings ability, and he saw the future with Elrith in it, summoning his powers for his family. Indeed, he is thankful, but that is not the way to go. The images faded, and Noah took the blade Elrith bestowed him in hand. The blade was turned over, and he grabbed Elrith's hand, curling the fingers around the hilt. This would be done as Elrith uses his powers on Noah's family. It's logical that Elrith would need time to designate the location of his family, and so Noah used these precious seconds.

A thrusting motion, and the blade was plunged into Noah's stomach, ripping his insides. His body was trembling violently, and with his last breath, Noah whispered to Elrith, "Revive me after this."

Before Noah collapsed to the ground, he had the plan thought out. Since Elrith had not used his powers on Noah's family, he would be able to use it instead to revive Noah. The blade would be returned back to Elrith, and he could do as he wants with it. Noah's eyes closed alas, and he crumbled in death.

*Elrith stood there in his new state. The fool, Elrith knew that he would do this. However, perhaps it was for the best.*

"Then we must leave my friend.."

*A cloud of blue cube engulfed their bodies and seconds later they were in a field. Revivals were massive amounts of power, that release would destroy an entire block. And th amount needed here might even level an entire 8th of Nede... Elrith closed his eyes and made his decision. He held out his hand and Noah began to glow...*

"I will see you soon my friend... May Aenied forgive me..."

*He absorbed the old power of noah and then channeled the power of Aenied itself into his eyes. He made certain that he looked directly into Noah's, which he had open moments before... He used ll his energy that would have been used for his family along with the power of the planet. He threw in the power that had made him immortal to make certain of the effectivness. His eyes glowed brighter then anystar and would have blinded anyone had it not been for they were alone. Two beams shot from his eyes into Noah's, within enough magic to bring back an army of regular people... but barely enough to revive a man of Noah's caliber...*

"When you wake, I will sleep..."

*Elrith vanished to go to his quaters at the University. his armor breaking apart as he used up his last drop of power. He had left the sword with Noah and the power of the elder ith him as well. He would not be immortal, but he would be unable to remove the gift od being tha elder of Creation. He now had 3 levels of power that he had not had before. the first was the power of new life, the second the power of restor life, and the thrid... the power of creation. These are the gifts Elrith had left him with.*

The last thought on Noah's mind before he crumbled was: alas, slumber. He remembers that someone once asked him what his greatest desire is. He had said it to be slumber. A chance to retire, to rest, to alas, have peace. But in death, there is no peace. For death is not the opposite of life, and death itself is a mystery. Death is not the end. At least, it's not for him.

Noah somehow felt conscious, even though he's not in his physical form. His soul was shot towards the underworld, and then he landed. Noah stood in the underworld, a translucent image in near-darkness. Beasts of all sorts went on their way around him, paying no heed. There was a path ahead, and Noah walked towards it. Something was beckoning him to continue on...

Until something tore him out of the underworld, and brought him back to Aenied. Elrith! A great force shoved his soul into his body, causing blue electricity to shoot from his fingertips. Each nerve in his body spazzed, and Noah's eyes flew open. He couldn't move yet. Energies of all sorts danced across his body, and something healed the wound in his stomach. His revival!

Then Noah straightened, and he scarcely heard Elrith's voice. He glanced to the side, to see the sword leaning gloriously against the wall. Where did Elrith go? The logical location would be the university. Noah dusted himself off, He reached out, grasping the hilt of the blade. He must go see Elrith. It is not over yet. Omaga.

Noah turned and stepped back into his work-room to change. He took out an old outfit. One of which he hasn't worn in a long time. He pulled on the outfit his old friend, Alex, made for him. The armor had most protection upon the chest, shoulders, forearms, back, and various other areas. It was made to be light, with rune inscriptions with magical properties. Noah took his sword out, Jikeidan'in. The fine rubies of the sword seemed to sparkle at Noah's touch, and the clever runes upon them were visible. He tucked both swords on his thick belt, and strolled out of Bing Hei, for Magnus University.
