T2 Empty
PostSubject: T2   T2 Icon_minitimeThu Feb 21, 2008 4:40 am

T2: basic T2 is 7-10-7-12 though a lot of people only post it as 7-10-7 apparently no one other then myself believes in using counters anymore. Anyways if you really want to get down to it both of those are truly wrong. If you want the full numbers for T2 it is 7-7-10-7-12-12 this might blow your mind because there are more numbers then you remember and can’t figure out what they are for, but I will explain all that. Okay 7-10-7-12 means seven words to attack, ten words to connect, seven words to dodge, and twelve words to counter. In so much of a greater reality there are more actions to this. Blocking and prepping. A lot of people call prepping and attacking the same thing though they aren’t. Blocking though think goes with dodging actually requires twelve words to do. So now we have 7-7-10-7-12-12 seven words to prep seven words to attack ten words to connect seven words to dodge twelve words to counter and twelve words to block. I will go through each of the actions the requirements for them as well as give you examples later on. First of all we will work on attacking.

Attacks: Attacks have to be seven words long, though they can be more. In an attack you must have who you are attack, how you are attack and where you are attacking to. In your attack you can never say that you hit but rather you are attempting to hit. An attack looks like so:

Code:
-He moves his right hand to Bob’s gut.-

Connecting: Connecting comes right after the attack, in the connect you state where you hit, what you hit with, who you hit, and the effect of the hit. A connect would look like so:

Code:
-His right hand hits Bob’s gut making him fall down.-

Dodges: Dodging must be done before someone can connect this avoids you from getting hit and the other person gaining a point. Dodges must have the name of the person, what you are dodging and how you are dodging. Dodges look like so:

Code:
-He ducks under the right arm of Bob’s.-

Counters: Countering is one of the most usefully moves in T2 though it often takes more time, a counter is a dodge followed by an attack in the same post, it requires everything an attack and a dodge have, luckily for us they are a lot a like. A counter would look like so:

Code:
-He ducks down away from Bob’s hand as his foot goes to his throat.-

Now by true T2 rules do remember that location is a very important thing and this is where preps and a few other rules come in. By the rules of true Eden T2 if someone is out of melee range you must move to them, if someone is behind you, you must turn around to face them, this is done with a movement prep, there are many different forms of preps but movement preps are used the most. By T2 rules you can not add movement into your attack like taking several steps forward or jumping across the room, sliding to the left or to the right. Though many of use do that, it is wrong. To do proper movements they must be a seven word long post that is separate from the attack. This post simply needs to state who you are moving to/from and the distances covered. The post would look like this:

Code:
-He jumps three feet back away from Bob.-

While this is just one type of prep it is used thee most by fast well balanced T2ers, it’s also the second most useful prep next to the kill prep. The other preps that you will need to know are for: Bone Breaking, Double Attacks, Killing, Instant Kills, Weapons, Magic, Projectiles, Forced Bleeding, Severing of Body Parts, and Multi purpose moves.

Bone Breaking: Bone breaking is a simple prep in which you get ready to break someone’s bone. In a prep you do not need to state you are getting ready to, or the persons name, just needs an action that can some how lead to another action. Here is what it would look like you were to Prep Attack and then connect in attempt to bone break:

Code:
-He moves his left hand out by his side with a clenched fist.-
-His left hand with clenched fist goes to Bob’s right arm.-
-His left hand hits Bob’s right arm shattering the bone in it.

Double Attacks: A double attack is a bit of an odd ball it requires that you have a prep an attack and two connects. Double attacks also counts for two points if both attacks hit. Remember you need five points or hits on the other person before you can kill them or knock them out. A double attack is like so:

Code:
-His right and left hand both clench forming fists.-
-He moves his left hand out to Bob’s face while his right goes to Bob’s gut.-
-While his left fist pushes into Bob’s face his right continues to his gut.-
-His right fist pushes into Bob’s gut making him barf up his last meal.-

Killing: once you have hit your opponent five times you can then kill or Knock them out. Either one requires one prep one attack and one connect, though by some rules you need to connects. By Eden’s rules it would look like so:

Code:
-He moves his left hand back as he clenches his fist.-
-His left hand launches forward at Bob’s chest.-
-His left hand hits Bob in the chest stopping Bob’s heart cold.-

A knock out follows the same format just you’d say they were knocked out cold.

Instant Kill: Instant kills are one of the trickiest moves out there, requiring five preps one attack and two connects. Though this does mean you don’t have to hit the person five times it is also hard to pull off. A Instant kill is often best done with a weapon though it can be done by hand, they look like so:

Code:
-He feels his muscles tighten in his left hand.-
-As he attempts to relax sweet moves down his palm.-
-Quickly opening his left hand he brings it up into the air.-
-His right hand moves up to his left hand as his fingers lock.-
-With fingers now locked he swings both hands through the air.-
-His hands swing through the air heading to the chest of bob-
-His left hand hits the chest of Bob as his right hand pushes against it.-
-His right hand pushes harder on the left hand increasing the force of the hit causing Bob’s heart to stop dead.-

As you can see there is a bit of monotones to it and it takes a while but it can end a pointless fight fast.

Weapons: Often in a fight people like to use outside or inside weapons, if it’s an outside weapon you need a prep to pick it up before you can use it, and if it is a weapon you already have on you, or an inside weapon then you need a prep to bring it into the fight before you can use it. It’s really nothing more then a prep to bring the weapon/weapons into battle, once you’ve done so, you don’t need to prep again for an attack with it unless it is to kill in a double attack long range bone breaking arm severing or causes bleeding. Back to the point the prep set up would look like this for an inside weapon:

Code:
-He moves his right hand back gripping his swords blade as he pulls it from his sheath.-

While an outside weapon would look something like.

Code:
–He moves his left hand down to a chair picking it up.-

Magic: Now we are getting into the fun stuff. Magic only requires one prep for close range, though magic also includes energy magic and mental attacks. Most of which are long range and would then become a projectile which requires two preps then, this also brings me to another very important rule, if you have something that is say a magic projectile double attack that is going to break bones, you’d have to meet the requirements for each of those. So for a magic projectile bone breaking double attack you’d need four preps one attack and two connects. Anyways for a short range magic prep you’d need something like this:

Code:
He turns his gaze to Bob as his right hand lights up, energy gathers forming a sword.-
-He moves his energy sword out to Bob’s left shoulder.-
-His energy sword hits Bob’s left shoulder causing his flesh to burn.-

While a long range magic attack would look as so:

Code:
-He moves his left hand up as it starts to glow.-
-The energy gathered around his left hand forms into a orb.-
-The energy orb in his left hand shots out for Bob’s chest.-
-The energy orb hits Bob in the chest blowing up his shirt.-

Projectiles: For a projectile weapon you just need a prep an attack and a connect simply no? Looks like this pretty much:

Code:
-His right hand moves into his pocket as he grabs a rock pulling it out-
-He moves the rock up and then throws it at Bob’s head.-
-The rock sails through the air as it hits Bob in the head leaving a red mark.-

Forced Bleeding: Forced bleeding is nothing more then making the other person bleed, needs a prep an attack and connect unless you use a weapon or projectile or something else with it. Looks like so:

Code:
-He spins around as he moves his foot to Bob’s face.-
-His foot moves closer to Bob’s face the tip aiming for his lip.-
-His foot hits Bob in his face causing his lip to bust open and bleed.-

Severing Body Parts: This one comes in handy for fucking people over, they can’t walk or punch if they have no arms or legs. Severing body parts often requires two preps an attack and connect, if we want to get technical we can say three, sense it would be using a weapon cutting through the bone and drawing blood. So it would look like this:

Code:
-He moves his left hand back griping his swords hilt.-
-he moves his sword out from it’s sheath in a single motion.-
-Now holding his blade in his left hand he moves it into a swing.-
-His Blade swings to the right arm of Bob.-
-His Blade cuts through Bob’s right arm leaving it to fall to the ground.-

Multi-Purpose Preps: Now a prep can be pointless and to just confuse someone, as well as this for ever action in the attack you do that requires something special you have to have it. That’s really all I have to say to it. The example I’ll give you is with movement preps for confusion. :

Code:
-He moves his body up to the man Bob.-
-As he reaches Bob he jumps up into the air.-
-While in the air he flips around landing on the ground behind Bob.-
-Now behind Bob he moves his right hand back, his eyes on Bob’s neck.-
-With his eyes locked on Bob’s neck his right hand hits the ground as he flips back.-
-His form sails back as he moves his heel up into the air, which would move by Bob’s head.-
-He finishes his flip as he lunges forward his head pointed in at Bob’s gut.-
-He now stops in front of Bob as his right hand goes to his gut.-
-His right hand hits Bob in the gut making him fall over.-

See the key is to post those actions really fast, that way the person gets ubber confused and ends up getting hit. Also as mentioned in magic area, for every prep able action you do, you need the requirements. So if you are going to do a Bone Breaking, Sword Slash, That will kill someone you will actually need about four preps because it will cause bleeding break bone require a sword to be drawn kill and umm I think that’s it. Not really going to show that one, you can figure it out with the instant kill thing.

The only real rules other then this that you need to know is to make sure you agree on with the person you are fighting with if this fight is to the death or a spar, how many typos you get, what to call each other, and the first to what followed by kill or knock out.

T2 Royal: T2 Royal is just T2 without Typos. If there is one typo the whole post is voided. Everything else about it is the same as normal T2.
