| Noble [vs] Daedalus *** The posting order will work as follows: Whoever posts first posts first. Who ever posts second posts second. Whoever posts third posts third. That will be the posting order from there on after. *** No one may attack in the first round. They may however make preparations. *** Posting time has been extended too: ∞ *** A vast stretch of lush grassy land levitates in a seemingly endless twilight sky. Fluffy clouds drift across it reaching twice the height of men in some cases; obscuring vision both mundanely and supernaturally.
Mage Sight, Psionic ‘sight’, etc. is disrupted, as if the ‘signal’ can’t get through. This effect can be suppressed by your own ‘disruptors’, but cannot be permanently dispelled.
***

| A single puff of cloud drifted lazily across a tranquil glade of green, having lost its way from the mammoth cluster of twilight hued clouds. It crept along the glades length painstakingly slowly before being caught up in the arms of a breeze, pulling it back into the cluster of fluff; in its absence a single figure stood. Where once there had been only thin air, now stood a figure in a flowing long white coat; with a notably poofy collar quite similar to a beast’s mane. He took but a single stride forwards, and behind him his outline shone with the brilliant blue tones of a sky that did belong amongst the hues of sunset; and then just as quickly as it came the out of place colors vanished replaced by the natural splendors of twilight sky. The noble, as he had been named, cast his gaze about the surroundings; both with eyes of the mortal world and beyond. Though he viewed the clearing as clearly and as vibrantly as one would expect, the ocean of clouds clad in a sunset gradient; obscured his vision. Blurring it at the edges, and worsening the deeper he peered into the flowing plumes. A bother but not one that he couldn’t overcome, or one that he would linger upon whilst in the serenity of his glade. Closing his mortal eyes, the Evgenis inhaled deeply and exhaled in an elongated blow; as if he were trying to force the clouds away. To those that could see, perhaps having walked into the glade themselves, or looking from a birds eye view perhaps; it might’ve seen the opposite as just as Noble blew forth a wave of fine mist found itself creeping amongst the ground, glazing the serene glade and submerging into the depths of the clouds. Comfortable in his surroundings, the Evgenis prepared himself for the upcoming battle. Simultaneously the prosecho jewel embedded and his forehead and the memoria crystal upon his ear became livid, one supplementing the other; each supporting the Exalted Channeler as he readied one of his more complex spells. From deep within, from a nexus of spiritual puissance; perhaps from within his inexorable soul itself his power flowed. Auraplasm coursed through his form, guided by the internal mechanisms of the spell; channeled into the appropriate array. Simultaneously, as his aural blood coursed throughout his form; the Cosmic Noble drew upon the Ambient Arcana, the Prosecho Jewel innately assisting him the process. It too once draw within him fell into the canals of the spells mechanics, pouring its power into the spells well of strength. With every last drop in place the finale of the mechanics shone through the Evgenis’ aura, the coruscating streams of illumine each adopting a barely visible mark; noticeably one of the Channeler’s unique sigil formations. - Spoiler:
Auraplasm: One charge produced. - Depleted. Arcana: One charge siphoned. -Depleted. Pin Point Defense Aura: Fed two charges.
Mist: A strange mist glazes over the grass, reaching deep into the clouds. Pin Point Defense Aura: A contingency spell, when triggered by passing into the range of Noble's barrier, an equal amount of power in equal dimensions as the opposing force is released onto said spell at point blank; neutralizing the threat. It has yet to manifest.

“Brrrrrrrreeeerrraaaaarrrrrrrruuu...”
A massive tear glorified its presence high above the field, tearing the dimensional fabric asunder like a piece of parchment ripped in half by a pair of hands. The large ebony cavity revealed a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy pouring out forth from its girth. A constant wind blew from the throat; causing the blades of grass to mat to the surface of the planet, and the clouds to scatter away, as if a pack of deer running from a predator. The air and energy ejecting from the colossal scar is both corrosive and toxic.
From within the hole appeared a figure, clad in alabaster and obscured by the blackness of the world he stood within; just outside of the one he was arriving. Descending to the lush grassy terrain, the Ouroboros officer flicked a small, metallic coin off to the side. His eyes caught sight of the Channeler the moment he arrived, and although the figure was familiar to the officer, he gave him no further greeting despite the simple glance his way. The Ouroboros was told that he would be facing two this day; where was the other? he thought.
Settling on the mentality that he would either arrive soon or leave Daedalus alone to face the figure dubbed the Cosmic Noble. An interesting name, thought Daedalus, and one he would no doubt uncover were the circumstance beckoned forth. For now, though, the Officer released an invisible shudder; causing sky and surroundings to prepare for the pressure emanating from him, at the wheel. A hand idly resting atop the handle of his sidearm, Daedalus maintained eye-contact with the Evgenis.
From the fingertips of the Ouroboros birthed an array of golden-yellow lights in the form of minuscule lightning bolts. They extended from fingertip to shoulder, and danced all along his fore and upper arm. When collected at the peak of his shoulder the bolts crackled and descended back to the wrist and then recollected themselves once more 'till they rocketed back up to the shoulder. It was an alien process to those observing but to Daedalus, the procedure was natural, consistent, simple.

| The world is being torn apart. Pandora ‘spoke’, whispering into the Noble’s mind. <"I'm aware Edea, I can 'hear' it."> The Evgenis spoke aloud in Lunari tongue.
“Brrrrrrrreeeerrraaaaarrrrrrrruuu...” Noble looked to the sky, violet irises piercing through even the deepest of darkness to look upon a familiar figure, the Ouroboros Officer; though he quickly became disinterested in the officer and more with his means of arrival. Without hesitation his focuses shifted from his would be challenger to gaping hole in the sky quickly taking note of its nature; torrents of chaotic energy thrashing about, with an otherworldly strength capable of splitting the fabric of worlds; it felt all to familiar. <” Reminds you of the grid, does it not??> Mmm…I’ll make a note about it. The usual tactic should suffice if that is the case. It’s not cl- Eve found herself interrupted. For Noble, having already noted the lingering status of the hole; had already gone to work siding with the world to return it to its natural state. Together the Evgenis and World alike cast their otherworldly gaze into absolution itself, into the infallible truth of its truest of cosmic structures; where the blemish stood out like a deep stain in a perfectly white shirt. From here on it took but the smallest of nudges from the fabled one, and from there on the world itself went to work... In the end however, it appeared as though Noble had done nothing; he just stood there fainéant amongst the mist that still glazed across the glade. The result of his ‘nudge’ however quickly became apparent, the gargantuan lacuna in the sky snapped out of sight; vanishing just as quickly as it had arrived. Such strength was reserved, rushed through the same channels that auraplasm and arcana had previously ran through; further empowering his yet to be seen barrier. Once more, his mortal eyes fell upon Daedalus before speaking. “Sorry friend…” He spoke in common tongue, his hand left hand dropping to the hilt of Efialtis. “The mage, you remember him do you not? He’s caused a fair share of damage with similar gates, and to be honest its just not in my nature to let such taint remain in my presence.”- Spoiler:
Auraplasm:Produced one charge. -Depleted. Arcana: Zero. P.p.D.A: Three Charges. - Fed one.
Gate Crash: With a nudge from the Evgenis, the world returns to its natural state; effectively crashing the gate. Given the nature of the crash, this doesn't cost Noble a drop of his own power. Mist: This misty substance appears to be amiss, mostly unaffected by the powerful gusts of the gate.

| The actions set into motion by the Fabled One, Daedalus caught onto quickly, and despite his opposition’s invisible assistance to the World as it remedied the anomaly that was the garganta it would not go down willingly, peacefully. Out from the perpetual darkness that the garganta connected rocketed an explosion of torrential energy; collective in a hue reminiscent of the luminescence of bright red. The massive burst tore through the eye and plummeted to the ground on and around the opposition of the Ouroboros officer.
Daedalus observed as the irremediable calamity the energy caused decimated— and easily claimed —the planet’s surface and the clouds parted (if they had not from the earlier wind from exposure to the other world they had now). The planet around the Fabled One was completely destroyed; remnants of an untainted planet now stood a large crevice surrounding him if he had survived, too, or had sought refuge to a new area. Then, the World sung a quiet symphony, even if only for a few moments.
The eye collapsed inward, crashing systematically like a door slamming shut. The energy it had been collecting seemingly rushed onto the planet and realm, and quite easily eroded anything it came in contact with, aside from the Officer. His bracelet shimmering with an untainted luster on his wrist.
Twenty yards away, the Ouroboros officer smiled genuinely, flicking his index finger against his thumb; creating a sonata of noises. The sound reverberated against the energy crackling both around his fingertips and orbiting his arm. When each bolt struck the air around each ‘snap’ it caused a specific tune to ring in the air, however, it also made the specific bolt of golden lightning phase into a different hue. This one currently represented a light amethyst, and danced along his arm with a sense of life.
Daedalus shifted his vision over to the Cosmic Noble, listening intently as he spoke; however, when he was cut off, the Officer smiled some and anticipated what he might have said had he been given the opportunity to finish his dialogue.
<Did you catch that?> Evidently, I couldn’t have not caught that, Daedalus. The World responded to his will, he may be stronger than we thought. Should I prepare ‘it?’ <No. We’ll wait, see where things go. Then, if we have no choice. I’ll use that.> Very well.
The air around the Officer sizzled invisibly, and his presence caused it to shudder and shift away. Daedalus’ reiatsu was pressing against the world and seemed to circulate within itself, around him. Here he remained, waiting patiently, hand on his zanpakutō.
- Spoiler:
Garganta: Charges total; [2], depleted. Currently closed. Reiatsu: Charging, charges total; [3]. Given extra [+1] charge from garganta. Zanpakutō: Connected, perpetual. XXXX.1: Charging, charges total; [3]. Given extra [+1] charge from garganta. XXXX.2: Instant cast, total charges fed; [2].
[XXXX.2] - Cero Grande: A massive beam of ambient energy tears through the garganta, destroying the planet’s surface. A response to the unnatural force that caused the garganta to close. Cast with the charges fed from the garganta’s initial consumption.

| Queer, the world must have been feeling particularly fainéant today; correcting itself ever so indolently. Or perhaps the Noble simply didn’t understand the workings of the world as well as he thought, in truth he was still a novice Cosmic Noble; alas such errors were bound to happen! It mattered little however; as the duo had expected such a maneuver though admittedly it was notably sloppier than they expected. It made things all the easier for him, especially with its nature resembling the grid's power as much as it did. Noble simply stood there, despite the mercurial speed he possessed and his lissome nature; he held as still as a statue. Perhaps because despite that mercurial speed, he was still of flesh; or at least something that resembled flesh and he could not match the speed of blast!...Or not, for a blast of raw power it moved rather sluggish, in the pair's humble opinions at least; a fortunate turn of events. With the mist clustered about him, the prosecho jewel aglow, his aura searing and finally a massive red beam heading his way, the scene played out quite epically; visually at least, albeit a bit slower than they expected. – Looks can be deceiving however. The gargantuan blast collided with Noble’s aura, its strength immediately moving to swallow the entirety of the blast with its own titanic might; just as the P.p.D.A had so many times before. In a blaze of an otherworldly glow the hellish red luminosity of the Cero Grande vanished; devoured entirely before even touching the lush grass beneath him; Nobles own counter-measures temporarily expanding to meet the dimensions of the blast. That gargantuan blast; massive, corrosive, and perhaps even tainted; its fell wrath was mighty only in appearance; nothing that the Evgenis’ barrier could not handle. In fact its colossal size made it all the easier for the Exalted Channeler to overcome; that amongst other things. A truly intuitive man might have been able to pierce the veil of deception, Noble had painted ‘pon the battlefield’s canvas. A man of great perception would perhaps follow the clues hidden in his following action. For all the grandiose things that the Evgenis could do, he acted logy and simply, imbuing his contingency barrier with another helping of auraplasm; again notably without a heaping spoonful of arcana as well. Something was truly amiss… - Spoiler:
Auraplasm: Produced one charge – Depleted one. Arcana: Siphoned Zero – Depleted Zero. P.p.D.A: Holding 6 Charges. – Fed one. [Judges, check your pm box.]
Mist: Still drifting about Noble. P.p.D.A: Still in effect. Aural Osmosis: Too be revealed. [Judges, check your pm box].
