| The wind blew lightly in the newly fall-stricken Aenied, carrying those little bits of the earth and life around. A hand outstretched, the brown leaves would all pass, filtering out that which was the only pedal. Crimson from the flowers around, the pedal had perfect contrast from the white glove. But with gentle rising, the fingers would engulf up over the pedal, crushing it into the palm.
So even death has refused me......
Stepping forward, Alex would pass by the flower beds on either side of him. A land filled with so much energy, nothing ran by its general clock....Something Alex seemed to detest, but his face never could show it.
Bearly turning his head to notice, Alex entered into the temple before him. On entry, what could be heard were the words of the Lilium Hymn. Continuing into the church, a blast of wind behind him would send his long, waist length, white hair flying about his shoulders, the strands catching the light of the room just right to give him that glowing figure.
In slamming, the doors behind him would no longer allow passage out of the church, the coarse continuing with there music as those in the pews begin to stand with wonder to the man. His skin, pale as snow, was the first sign of his inhuman body, followed by the completely white trench coat that stretched down to black boots below, just resting above the ankle. Visible through the open trench coat laid black amour, useless to him now, yet Alex could not find himself not wearing it. The last noted oddity of the man laid in his eyes, violet with a black bisection.
Looking down to the ground, Alex would close his eyes as the humans around him got wise of him. He could already feel death calling him in the form poisons, garlic and silver ready to be pushed into his body at any moment.
A single, scarlet tear would fall to the stone ground as an uprising stirred around him. Grim......

| Alex.
Eyes flashing open, Grim looked around frantically.
White. Everywhere, everything. It was an abnormal color, useless and unwanted in her life.
Death?.... She couldn't deside. Left, right, up, down. White. Doing a double take, she realized that she didn't have a body. She couldn't see the blurred end of her nose. There was just white.
Grim couldn't feel herself. Feel an intake of air, though she knew she was breathing. Feel anything solid under her feet. She coulnd't feel anything.
Alex. She had been with him. Where was he now? Attempting to ungaurd her mind, she failed. She had never failed. She was trying to get out, not stay in. She pressed against the wall in her mind.
Nothing happened. She battered against it, barely a crack in her best-laid plan. Setting all she had against herself, Grim attacked her inside, her safe haven, her one true possesion that no one could take.
Another crack. She pressed harder. Spider webs, fingers reaching for her, pushing her back, back, back through life, back through death, back far enough to make her a child again, back so far it was the present, the future pulling her out headfirst, a final push into the light. One final plea made it's way through her mind, a cry she would never erase.
Alex!
And then the light and the cold.

| His eyes closed, Alex raised his head, his motionless face looking straight up. His hands expanding to either side, he would take the same form as of a crucifix. His white hair hanging away from his body would then sway, then with a jerk, billowing up and around as a source less wind cut through out the entire room. In slow motion, people would move up and away from him, scattering to the walls and exits to hope escape from his wrath.
But hope is not what saved them......
In expansion, Alex would release his pent up energy, the strands of pure mana exiting his body to cut around him. Quickly, the air would be thick with dust, wood chips, cloth and blood. But the energy would not stop here, its continued course cutting around the room like a blender. In time, the very walls of the church would explode into dust, the energy carrying everything outward and up, the only trace of the church left would be a based floor.
Where are you Grim? | |

| Here. She smiled in a nice way, the way she had been taught, as she set the drink down in front of the man. Asshole.
"There ya go. Anything else I can getcha?" She cocked her head to the side slightly, cheeks hurting from grinding her teeth. I hate this place.
A blank stare, then a shake of a head. "Alrighty. If you need anything, just hollar for Mercy. I'll be there in a jiff." Turning around, letting the smile fade as it always does, she made her way through the kitchen, to the back freezer. Her reflection in the cool metal stopped her for a moment.
"You'd look better as a rockstar." Her friend's words floated to the top of her thoughts as she gazed into nothing, remembering staring into a mirror and thinking, This isn't you.
Her hair was long and dark, her eyes a sharp turquoise. Her height was somewhat of a cursed gift, never good for much of anything. Her clothes were always plain and gloomy, her skin always smooth and unflawed. Mercy looked nothing like her parents, and she was glad.
Fricken clydsdales. She let herself wander back to reality, back to staring at her twenty-year-old self in a freezer door.
Only it wasn't her.
Some one else stared back, some one with black inkblots for eyes, hair black with patriotic streaks, clothes dark and snug. Some one stood behind the wonderful woman, some one with lighter hair and clothes, normal eyes.
But then Mercy realized she was looking at herself, a much prettier, paler self, some one she wished she didn't see. Gasping, she whipped around, heart racing ahead.
I'm right here, Alex. A razor across her brain, breath plooming out in a silvery cloud in front of her.
"Mercy. Mercy, are you ok? You look like you're about to-"
She saw the ground rush to meet her before darkness blanketed her.

| It was naught but a single flicker. Turning quickly to a southerly direction, Alex could see, as if a beacon in the sky, just where he had to go.
His single flicker turned into a faded shape from the church, in a blink of an eye, completely vanishing.
With a light touch, almost impossible to see, Alex's white gloves would gather the miniscule force against there patterns, catching that, or in proper manner, who, was falling to the ground.
Falling with a knee, he knelt over the young woman, his fingers just brushing the girls face, "Can it be.....?"
Have I truly found you? | |

| Mercy couldn't feel anything outside of pain. The pain she felt was something tearing through her heart like a chainsaw withough mercy, her eyes closed in shock. Her jaw was clenched, gums bleeding from pressure.
No audible thought could be found within her head, only one scream that wasn't hers:
ALEX.
She didn't know who Alex was, but he was the biggest pain she had ever felt. She would rather die, she would rather be shot with a taser, anything but this. Her fingernails bit into her palms, nerves about ready to explode from her wrists and neck.
Mercy curled in on herself, rolling onto her side. She couldn't hear anything, she couldn't see anything, but she felt everything, the cold floor offering no protection from her race horse heart.
Before Mercy opened her eyes a slight crack, her dulled seses noticed that the cold was only on a certain part of her body, not an entire side, but more spesific points on her side. Her eyelashes blurred her vision with tears, only white beyond.
Drifting into some sort of nightmare, Mercy let her body extend as another blade tore through the rest of her insides, making mincemeat out of her soul. A silent scream lit her lips as she arched her back, fists uncurling into claws as her stomach arched through the air and her neck snapped back in a painful way.
Only a whisper escaped her lips as she felt herself seemingly drain of all life.
Alex. Save me.

| Such pain.....Alex need not the abilities of an empathic to see the painful aura around the young individual. Closing his eyes, his hands would drift into the soul of the girl, searching her heart and mind. His eyes jerking open in shock, he would feel the very presence of her......
Pulling her forward, Alex would find his body laying next to the young woman’s, his fingers clutching madly at his chest, "Grim.....GRIM!" He yelled, his voice cutting the air like a sledge hammer, glass shattering in the near vicinity. In the blackness he could see her, pulling her to the surface, buried deep by flesh and bone and soul, would Grim once again, reappear in this world.

| Mercyfelt her conscience slip to nothing as she was torn in half from her head down, skin, tendons and muscles meaning nothing.
Grim however, felt herself returning to a physical shape again, exploding from the poor whoever that she had been prisoned within. She rolled over from Mercy onto Alex, pinning his hips with her thighs.
She gazed with clear eyes now, a green-blue with a golden tint around the outside. When she was sure it was indeed Alex she was laying on, Grim let her head fall to his chest, relief and a fuzzing, warm, and overall undescribable love seeping into her deepest cores.
Eyes closed, she let herself relax. She was safe here, in this neverending moment of freedom and happiness, one she couldn't describe her feelings for in a million years. She let the tears run down her face freely, not caring about how silly she looked.
Alex.

| The pain ebbing away, the pale lids would rise again from his eyes, allowing Alex to once again see, "My time....Is up for now....But I will see you once again........."
Taking one last glance at Grim, his hands slowly running down her hair, Alex's body would gasp in sharply, his head leaning back as his hair slowly rose up into his head. Body slimming down, falling under the weight of Grim, he would loose tone, his hair finally stopping at his ears, dark brown once again. Color returned to his skin and his eyes, unseen for his lids, would retract some, almost as a lens for a camera, the black bisection ring in the violet moving into the pupil, then exiting back toward the center of the iris.
With the end of yet another transformation, William would wake up, completely clueless as to where he was, or why someone was laying on his lap.

| Grim wrapped her fingers in his clothes, letting her fingernails brush his skin.
Please don't leave me. Please don't leave....
As smoothly as she could, Grim rolled off and up, standing in an eerily familiar place. Knowing the girl was going to be confused, she closed her eyes and took the memory from her, as painlessly as she could, instead inserting a blank space she could fill with some other thought or event.
Task finished, Grim went to a differnt corner to cry in, out in the world in some dark alley.
Suck it, world. | |
