This should be my third clan. I started my first clan with Trey. He's the fighter type. He'd rather fight in the front-lines, than sit back to think. Well, I'm more of a thinker. I prefer to sit back and plan out, but I'd fight if needed.
Throughout my clans, though this is my favorite, I've met many people who helped me much. I met Donna in my second clan. I met Nate in SB, through Trey. I met Kiyo, Kai, and Chris in SB, aswell. On a side note, Trey and I were like rivals. We trained together alot. He preferred to fight, and I preferred to lead. So SB mainly started as a T2 clan.
I still remember when the Dragon Warriors came back, with Gutz [Nic], Sin [Scotty], and Gene. Whether they will admit it or not now, they had tried to take over the rooms and such. Gutz once said, "I figured a clan needs to rule, and I decided mine should." From then on, we were enemies. SB tried its best to beat 'em, but at the time, we didn't exactly have man-power. There were betrayals of all sorts, from a close friend that joined them, to a few allies that helped them and left us. The people that stuck with me through it all is Chris, Kai, Donna, Kiyo, and Nate. Trey was on vacation at the time.
When I wanted to give up, Donna told me that even if I disbanded SB, she'd keep her screen-name. Kai told me, "As long as a person still has one faithful follower, they're still a leader." Chris told me to not give up, because we still promised each other that we'd shine brighter than gold, brighter than the stars in the sky. Kiyo stuck with me, telling me to not give up. So we stuck to the end, and within a week or so, Nate killed Gutz, Gene, and Sin.
That was the start of our expansion. People came to join us, even Realistic Melee Artist Kyle. We grew fast, and maybe I got abit arrogant then. You know how when something comes too easily, and you don't value it? Well, that's what happened. In the midst of troubles, I gave up and left. I wandered about for awhile, searching for some answers to the questions I had in mind. Eventually I figured them out, came back, and SB came back. We grew again. I won't say that we were awesome or anything, because I'll leave that judgement to others.
I caught a clan around once. I can't remember their name. Something Malevolence. Well, Drew was in it, and so was Kevin. SB declared war on them, because Drew backed out on a fight against us. We had fighters, and they had fighters, one-on-one rumble. We won, and later, Kevin joined us.
As a leader, I know I couldn't have made it through without all these guys with me. Nate had tutored me in t2, aswell. Well, I've won. I've lost. I've gotten back up again. And I won't ever give up. Persistence. I believe it can give you anything. Though SB is gone now, the experience I have with it, and the lessons learnt, will always stay with me.
Thanks everyone for being there for me.
