It's amazing how much we can gather from hearing a voice. We can tell what type of mood their in, how much sleep they had, and if they are getting sick.

We can also tell if they are pulling our legs.

....text, not so much.

Mainly a he-said-she-said type ordeal that is left up to interpretation.

True true. Babble? I think we are having a nice conversation and perhaps providing entertainment for others who yearn to gain more knowledge. Or who are simply bored.

It is true we can tell a lot from simply the tone of someone's voice. But moods can still be deciphered if you grow accustomed to how a person types or behaves over the internet. At least, with most of the online friends I have, I can tell when something is not right. Either way, it is still easier to communicate when you are face to face.
