| Noah was angry. Sitting atop of a building in Nede with his long legs hanging off the buildings, he eyed the area below. The cold breeze whipped at his hair, but he wasn't cold this time. A hand snapped up, taking a strand of his hair. It used to be a dark, almost shiny black. Now it is losing its color, and turning to a white hue. Was he aging prematurely? No, it is just his genetics. How lucky of him to be born like this. The sarcasm was all too obvious.
The anger was building up inside him, like steam in a closed container. Noah wanted to explode. The past days, he expected something incredible to happen. Now that it has, the impact left him breathless. He almost wished it never happened. A gloved-hand lowered to rest atop his bag to his left, and he realized darkness was approaching. He glanced down at himself briefly to notice that he wasn't wearing a shirt. Yes, his last one was given to his clumsy maid when hers got cut off. A part of him wondered where she went, but the thought quickly faded. It was irrevalant compared to what was really going on in his head.
For some unbeknownst reason, Noah isn't scared tonight. All he felt was a fierce anger. A bright blue hue passed over his usually insipid dark brown eyes, then he blinked, and it reverted back to the dark color. He was exhausted, physically and mentally. After the battle with Omaga, it left him drained, but he won a trophy. The thick metal ring he wore on his thumb finger was proof of his tiny victory. After the confrontation with that woman ... it left him deeply agonized. He never felt this lost before. How bizarre.
A single name bounced around in his head: Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. Camile. | -It had been three long months since Teanna had been left alone on the shore. Her home burning, no food, all alone to fend off for herself in a forest and land that was still strange to her. She was cold, sick, tired, hungry, dirty, and she couldn't find a reason as to why she woke up in the morning. She couldn't find a reason as to why a Reaper hadn't come to her yet. And so every morning, Teanna would get up and continue walking through the forest, it seemed as though it stretched on forever. Such a vast forest she didn't recall. There used to be a path when she first ran away. But grass had grown now, plants of all kinds. She would never find that path. And then she found it, the most beautiful sight she could recall seeing in those months: Light! Free from trees, light in all purity and innocence shining through. An opening, an exit. Escape, oh sweet warm embrace! Finally!
In the distance she could see buildings, modern buildings, yes, a world which would look down upon her but a world nonetheless. And civilization! Which offered food and a bath! Oh how she loathed nature now. She realized that she looked completely skeletal. Her cheeks sunk in, her eyes surrounded by darkness, she looked hundreds of years old. But it didn't matter, hah, of course it mattered! If he had not left her there for dead, she could have come to this new world not as a refugee, but as a traveler. She hadn't forgotten, and if she was to find him, she would drive one of her bony fingers right through his heart. The thought made her giggle, her finger could probably do that, it looked as though it was all just skin and bones, literally. "Food...Food...Food...Food!...FOOD!!!" She repeated in her head as all sorts of scents filled her nostrils. She was just like a tiger released from its cage, except... a lot hungrier.- |

| Noah noticed anothers' presence. Most people would be sleeping by now. What kind of psychopath would run around in the darkness late into the night? If Noah's not in such a fowl mood, he wouldn't even be here right now. Leaning over the edge of the building, Noah caught a glimpse of somebody below. Slinging his bag over his shoulder, Noah turned and took the stairs swiftly to get off the building. Who could it be?
Noah's soft shoes would allow him to creep sneakily up on the being in the streets. But his white hair would probably catch a person's eye. He was nearing this person ... about three yards them. Noah noted that this person had a dress, so obviously, it's a female ... unless guys wear dresses now, of which he didn't even know about. Why does that person seem awfully familiar?
Closing in the distance, Noah was about three feet from her. Would they notice he's sneaking up on them? An arm reached out by then, using his hand to move over their mouth, muffling them if the female did scream. He didn't want to seem so .. criminal, but if she [hopefully it's a she] screams, and some sort of crowd gathers ... Well, Noah wouldn't like that.

| -Teanna's lips curled into a wicked smile. "Oooh... A stalker." When fear came to her, it was uncontrollable. But otherwise, it was easily controlled. It, perfect choice of words. Her skin began glowing lightly, but it wasn't noticeable under all the dirt that covered her body. She wanted to hurt whoever was following her, just for the idea of hurting them. She wanted to squeeze every last drop of blood from their heart. The tips of her hair had begun turning darker, but then a hand moved over her lips. "Noah?" She thought as she heard the voice. What a delicious surprise this was. Exactly who she wanted to see. Teanna quickly turned and looked at him, her fingers had curled around his wrist, and slowly pulled his hand away from her mouth. "Oh don't worry, I won't scream."
His hair was turning silver. Why? And he looked almost angry. "Tsk tsk." She clicked her tongue as she watched him. She wouldn't hit him, nor hurt him, not yet. She was hungry, and he could provide food, he knew the area, didn't he? After all, he had followed her.- |

| Noah felt an energy, or aura of some sort rise near him. Whose could it be? His hand clamped over the female's mouth firmly to quiet them in case they decided to make a noise, then he heard a familiar voice. Whose is it? Noah thought back to his travels. He's met so many people, it's rather difficult to know for sure... but he remembered faintly the girl that had given him chocolate. ... Didn't he burn her little cave down or something? ... Why is he abit nervous now? Reminding himself that he most likely did it for the better good, the anxiety eased. Noah's not knowledable about everything, but he does know for sure that since he worked for Aenied, he hasn't wronged another purposely. Noah took in her features, and noticed how gaunt she seems. He wiggled his wrist free, tugging it out of her grasp, "Teanna?"
Noah was still a tad surprised to see her. He didn't really think he would again. The land is so vast, and to meet her again is almost .. one in a hundred? So many things have happened since they last parted ways. Well, rather, he left her, Teanna seems so ...bony and dirty. Did she not know her way around the forest that she lived in? "Follow me." That mannerism about him, domineering and curt. The food stores are closed at this time of night, but he does have some rations from his travels. Noah's almost glad that his clumsy maid didn't lose it. Teana needs shelter.
As he led her away, Noah pushed his own anger aside, or tried to. It doesn't matter now. What matters is that he helps her find a place to be her new home. He would have to think more on why he burnt her cave down. For now, he can't remember accurately.

| -Teanna felt the anger boiling inside her as she looked at him. Not hate, she did not hate him, something prevented her from that. But she was angry, oh so angry. "Why?" that was the only word that escaped her lips. Why meant everything. Why had he burnt her home? Why had he left her there? Why did she find him? Why was he now helping her? Why? She wanted to hide her face, and her body from him. She didn't want him to see her so weak, so vulnerable and unclean. And the fact that she needed him, his help, just made it all worse. And she was disappointed that he could not remember her, her help had gone by unnoticed. Hours wasted to help him. And in return, he could not do as much as remember her? Maybe she should do the same. Let him take care of her, bring her up on her feet, then maybe burn his home and run away. Wouldn't that be lovely?
Dark, it was so dark out. Why was he not afraid now? Sure there were the flickering 'street light' that completely captivated her as she walked down the streets, but the corners were still dark, shadows still roamed freely. Teanna followed just a few steps behind him, humming. It was a soft tune, slow, but somehow joyous. As though in some simple way it celebrated life, it celebrated the light in the darkness. As cliche as the meaning was, the tune calmed her a bit. Yet every time she looked up to see him walk ahead of her, her fist would lift and she would make a few stabbing motions then lower it once more. Angry, yes, but her actions seemed funny to her, all she could do was smirk after each motion.- |

| Noah ignored her. Why is insignificant right now. Even in the town of Nede, danger lurks around the corner. Violence cannot be prevented. Such things would always follow people's way of life. It is human nature, and Noah has learnt to accept it ... though he still has the will to fight against it, however he could. Pausing so that he walked beside her, Noah's digits wrapped around her thin wrist, and he suddenly sped up, dragging Teanna away with him.
Why is it that he can't remember her right now? Is it his own Ego Defense Mechanisms at work? Did he do something so terrible, that he actually was able to prevent himself from remembering it? Denial? Repression? Who knows. All that Noah remembers for now is that he burnt a cave, and she had given him chocolate. He would ultimately need more time to think on such a topic.
The darkness didn't bother him tonight. Too many things exist in his mind, and perhaps it's also blocking out his fear ... But Noah knew that eventually, the fear would return. He almost shuddered in apprehension at the very thought of the darkness haunting him again.
Upon reaching a small farm, Noah turned and released her wrist. Bending to sweep her clearly off her feet with his arms, he intended to carry her. Noah had no intentions of sneaking into a house and borrowing a room. That would be too dangerous and foolish. They should be able to find shelter inside the barn. Perhaps there would be vegetables to "take" for Teanna to eat.

| -Teanna wouldn’t be able to keep up at said speed much longer, and his grip of her wrist was hurting her. As she slowed down, he only pulled harder. It hurt! Teanna looked out at the farm as he let go of her wrist. But as he picked her up, she hit him once more. This time, her nails dug into the skin of his cheek, making him bleed a bit. “You hurt my wrist.” She hissed at him, “And I can walk by own bloody self.”
Teanna pulled away from him and stepped back, waiting for him to walk on. She rubbed her wrist as she looked out into the distance, and then tugged the trench coat he had given her tighter around her body. She felt the cold now, and it bothered her. Her stomach was aching terribly, her whole body ached! Then she felt dizzy, heh, the world was spinning, spinning faster and faster. Teanna smiled, but then realized the ground was a lot closer to her body than she remembered.
No… That wasn’t right. The ground doesn't move... She quickly realized she had fallen to the ground. As she collided with the ground, she gasped softly. Everything was getting cloudy, and she felt as though there was no more air. Then everything went dark, and cold, it was so very cold.- |

| Noah felt a spontaneous impact against his cheek, and blood dripped down. A hand slowly lifted, feeling the red moisture there. It had stung abit, but Noah was used to physical damage. And yet ... it wasn't his cheek that hurt most. His pride was damaged, and he felt the anger he already had building up inside him rise up. Turning to her as she stepped back, he felt the urge to get back at Teanna for what she did.
Then the memories hit. Yes, he remembers her now. She had bandaged his burnt hands and given him a bed that night in her cavern. She gave him chocolate too. Yes, Teanna had hit him too. Now Noah remembers why he had burnt her home down. He didn’t know how to justify what he did. But he knew this much: It was for the best.
Teanna crashed to the ground. ... Blinking, Noah crouched and poked her skeletal arm. No reaction. With a hand to the back of her head and the other arm sliding under her knees, he picked Teanna up. She felt so light in his arms. Through the fence they went, and Noah found a little corner for them.
Propping Teanna up against the fence at the corner, Noah sat down beside her, reclining. Legs stretched out tiredly, Noah tugged his trench-coat over Teanna's body. A hand stretched out hesitantly, fingertips brushing against her bony face before he pulled back swiftly. His hand clenched, and then unclenched.Did he do this to her?
Noah dared not to make a flame. If someone caught them here ... well, he'd either have to run with an unconscious girl in his arms, or fight his way out. Neither of them sounds very appealing right now. Noah pulled one leg up to bend, resting his elbow atop the knee. He would not be able to sleep. Tonight, he shall guard over Teanna.

| It was so strange, yes she had collapsed, yes she could not move, but yet she was… conscious? She could think, well, not exactly think, but she could hear things around her, she could hear the wind whistling through the trees, she could hear people speaking. No, she was not thinking, those were memories, but why could she not see?
She had stopped floating, or whatever had been happening, and now she felt ground underneath her. Or maybe she was just, yes, waking up, but her eyelids felt so heavy, she couldn’t open her eyes. Teanna felt someone touch her cheek, and at that moment her body twitched a bit. Why couldn’t she move? Then her eyes slowly opened, though her vision was blurry, she could see a bit.
She felt so tired, so sick of it all, “Why?” She whispered once more, but it was most likely not audible, her mouth and throat were dry. But maybe she should just sleep, maybe she should just fall back down and sleep, but in her state, she feared that she wouldn’t wake up. Teanna wanted an answer; she wanted to know what made him abandon her like that. No, she didn’t want the answer, she needed it. Just like she needed the air that currently was not coming to her!
Teanna’s lips parted and she took in a deep breath. “There, that’s better.” She could see clearly now, and she saw him seated there. “Going to be the hero now? Or do you just feel bad?” She thought and smirked faintly, disappointed and thankful. That’s how she felt. Such an awkward combination. |

| Noah's mind was far away. He thought back to when he first saw Camile in this reality. She was weak, hurt, and unconscious. Her hair was greasy, but she was beautiful, nonetheless. Noah know now why she had seemed so familiar to him from his dreams. Her own facial features were similar to his. He even snuck into the crazy doctor, Karasu's house to check on Camile once. That was when he ripped off her door-knob when Karasu caught him at it. The doc' must be angry. Noah could almost laugh at those silly moments, then something else disrupted his thoughts.
He heard a voice, and turned towards Teanna slowly. Leaning towards her, Noah's ear hovered near her lips, letting her tell him whatever she needed. He figured that she wouldn't be able to use her full voice just yet. But Noah's not really sure if that's a bad thing, considering how bold she is ... "Can you breathe?" He was kind of worried that she wouldn't be able to breathe. If she couldn't ... well, she'd probably die. Which isn't good. Actually, it's pretty bad. [i]Was she just smirking at him? Noah blinked in puzzlement. What could she be smirking about? Teanna's frail, starving, and dirty. The question was driving Noah insane, bouncing around in his head in a frenzy. What in the world could she be smirking about?

| "Yes I can breathe." She whispered, her eyes rolled a bit but the smirk remained on her lips. She wanted to sleep, yes yes she wanted to, she needed to. "Can I sleep here?" The two sentences together made her cough. She had said too much. No more speaking, it wouldn't hurt her to just hold her tongue. Teanna's eyes closed once more, and she leaned on a side, letting her body fall back against the ground once more. She pulled her knees tightly to her chest, she hadn't waited for an answer, but she needed sleep. If there was no food, nor water, sleep was the only thing left. And she could sleep anywhere. As she lay there, a thought came to her, "Don't run away again" She looked up to him, her voice a bit louder than before. Her eyes slowly closed, and all emotion vanished from her face as she slipped off into a world of dreams.- |

| As Teanna fell towards the ground, Noah caught her in his arms. She still seems as stubborn as ever. Noah felt as if he's actually getting an idea of how she's like, which is a surprise in itself. He usually doesn't pay attention to such things. Sighing, he blinked and shook his head. Would he run away again? Not likely. At least, he didn't think he would. There's still business to settle here. Until then, Noah would stay in Nede. Sitting back down, Noah laid her against him as gently as he could .. which still isn't really that gentle. He glanced about, and kept a look-out on the area around them. Yes, it did seem that she believes he had wronged her. Would Noah even try to justify to Teanna? He's not one to even bother with that in most cases. Does she deserve an explanation? Noah eyed her sleeping, fragile form, and nodded to himself. Yes, she does. But not yet. He would let her puzzle some of it out herself first. Just like that, Noah kept himself awake by thinking. | |

| Run down the steps. Run, run, run away. They'll never catch you. It's too late already. They'll never see you. The words were repeated in her head as she clutched her bag tightly to her body, quickly making her way towards the lake. She had known there was a cavern behind the waterfall, and now it was time to explore it. It would keep her safe wouldn't it? "ANNA!" She heard a voice behind her, the voice of a man, the voice of a man she once respected. "Leave me alone!" She replied and turned around furiously, her hair turning a bright gold shade in just a flash. The man approached, and she stepped back towards the lake. "Anna, let me take you back home. You'll be safe home, home, love, home." She saw an object shining in his pocket, he was carrying a weapon! A weapon! "So you can lock me up again? No, I won't come back." The man stepped closer, the water up to his knees, and up to Teanna's hips. "You're coming back home right now!" "NO!" She yelled, taking a final step back. Koven pulled the dagger out, and pointed it at her. That's when fear completely filled her. Fear, fear, the taste of blood filled her mouth, his blood, it was everywhere. What happened? His body... parts... parts of him...
"NO!" Teanna gasped and jumped up, it had been a dream, just a dream. She brought her knees close to her chest, and wrapped her arms tightly around them, her chin resting on her knees. The sun was almost up, it was morning, she had slept through the night. That was good. Yes, she had to push the dream away, far away from her, back to the dark corners of her mind, where it came from.- |

| Noah didn't sleep that night, just as he had decided. When he heard Teanna, his head jerked. She's awake. But something was wrong, Noah knew that. She was in his arms, but it didn't seem as if she knows that. Was she dreaming? "What's wrong?" Noah had a hand on her shoulder, squeezing it firmly for her attention. What had happened to shake her up like that?
Awhile ago, he was staring at the sky, thinking. It seems as if he can just sit there, and brood over past and current matters. Noah was thinking of Camile, and how she had asked for him to find Lance. She wanted to know where her baby went, and then when he found Lance... Noah shook those thoughts away. It didn't matter right now. Teanna's upset.
His arms wrapped loosely around Teanna in a sort of awkward hug. Noah's never hugged someone before. It felt strange to him, but something told him it was necessary to calm her now. So he was quiet as his arms around Teanna tightened, holding her against him for what seemed like an eternity.

| -She didn't want him to touch her, she didn't, she didn't. She squirmed as she felt his arms around her, her body twitching a bit. It wasn't him that bothered her, she just didn't want to be touched in such a situation. "Nothing's wrong... Just.. A nightmare is all." And then she calmed down a bit, realizing how awkward it must be for him to hug her.
His arms were loose, but tense, it was just as though he stretched his arms out, and just had his hands touching her. Teanna laughed, "That's not how you hug people, you know?" She turned and wrapped her arms tightly around him for a brief moment, an example of some sort and a thanks as well. She leaned back as she let go of him, and took a deep breath, pushing the dream completely away from her. "I think I'm hungry...".
She closed her eyes and stretched her legs out, then slipped her arms in the trench coat, she didn't need it as a blanket anymore. She was awake now.- |

| A nightmare? Noah was surprised. He thought he was strange for having nightmares. It seems as if Teanna does, too. It made him feel ... abit less lonely. With her laughter in his ears, Noah turned his head to stare at her. "How do you hug --" before he finished, Teanna had her arms tightly around him. His cheeks flushed a slight pink, and he pulled away from her. "Food." ... What a bizarre statement. Noah stood up, dusting himself off before a hand extended for her to use to pull herself back up.
"Don't pass out on me this time." There was a note of teasing in his voice, which is ... rare, at the very least. Noah doesn't joke with people much. Then his expression froze. He heard a voice in the distance. Dark hues flicking around rapidly, he saw a figure heading towards them from the other side of the barn. Oh, man. Did someone see them?
Noah could almost laugh. He's a law enforcer, and here he is, trespassing onto someone's lands. It was so ironic, that it was almost funny ... but for some reason, he felt laughing isn't the most prudent thing to do right now.

| -Teanna took his hand and stood up, brushing some dust off of her, surely it wasn't of much help but it made her feel just a bit cleaner. "Don't worry, I'll try my best to uhm... Walk... myself to near death." She rolled her eyes a bit, her words were meant to insult him, since after all he had dragged her here.
But from her voice, it was clear that she was trying to hold back a laugh. She snickered and shook her head "Sorry, couldn't he-" Teanna stopped and also looked off in the distance. He who so fervently spoke about laws, broke them? He seemed to be lost as he stared at the figure. She wrapped her fingers around his wrist and tugged on his arm "...Shouldn't we be getting the Hell out of here now?"

| "That's funny." That was Noah's reply to Teanna's remark about walking herself to death. ... He didn't get it. What did she mean? He needs a sense of humor, that's what. Then Noah was stiff, frozen as the figure manuevered closer to them. Something in his head was screaming for him to run, to do something, anything Run! Run! Run! But he couldn't move... How bizarre. Then Noah felt someone's fingers around his wrist, and blinked, snapping to attention instantly.
"...Yeah." Turning, Noah had his back to her, bending. "Get on my back." His limbs were starting to work again, and his tone meant that what he said was final. He didn't need an argument right now. She couldn't really cover much ground with how weak she is. The only thing left for Teanna to do is to jump on his back and let him carry her away. They'd find somewhere to hide ... hopefully. If not, at least they tried, right? ... Noah almost twitched. He didn't want to imagine himself getting caught red-handed.

| -Teanna had lifted herself onto his back before he even finished the sentence. Her legs were wrapped tightly around his waist, "Wew, piggy-back ride." She snickered, truth of it was, she was getting a bit afraid, but she hated tense situations. She would make up jokes, or think of something funny, do anything that would make her think clearly instead of freak out over the situation. Which was what he had been doing for the past few minutes.
"Sorry I'm not lighter."She would be a burden for him, she would only slow him down. If only she wasn't so weak. She would be able to run, do anything but depend on him in such a way. Teanna was only making the situation much more dangerous. She wondered where they would go, or if they would get away. |

| Wrapping her arms around his neck, Noah broke into a wild run. The wind whipped at them, causing his black and white hair to flutter daintily. He could hear loud footsteps behind him. Someone was giving chase. Noah saw the wooden fence ahead of him, and knew he'd have to jump. ... Strange that the fence didn't seem so high last night. But then again, last night he could've taken his time and climbed over it. Right now, time is precious. And yet ... Noah was excited. The thrill coursed through his body. The excitement made him laugh aloud.
Then Noah's eyes blazed a brilliant blue, and the temperature around them suddenly got hot. The portion of the wooden fence that they were heading towards got burnt away, leaving a huge gaping hole. Noah just kept running, hearing the yells behind him as he sped away, away from the barn, and into the busy streets of Nede.

| -Teanna clung tightly to him, she refused to look around, since she knew she would be afraid that objects that were far away could somehow jump up in front of them. If she were to lift her head, she'd probably point at a random tree in the distance and scream "Watch out for that tree!"... No, no she wouldn't actually. She wasn't that stupid. It was just an exaggeration, but one that made her smile. And then she heard him laugh, was it the first time? Surely it was the first time she heard him laugh. It had caught her completely off-guard, but it seemed so innocent, so care-free of a laughter. "Somebody's crossed over on the bad side." She clicked her tongue, the tone of her voice slightly teasing. She was just toying with him.
"Where are we going?" She continued, her head falling against his shoulder and she closed her eyes. She would listen to the people's voices in the distance, the normal sounds found in a busy city. People, yes, people, voices which she missed, sounds which she wished to have heard a long time ago. Finally, somewhere she could find peace. |

| Noah felt Teanna's arms tightly around him as he ran, reaching the busy streets of Nede. People glanced at them momentarily, because it is ... rather strange to see a guy with no shirt on, and a girl with a dirty dress on his back. But that's insignificant. He's not one to care about what others would think of him. Slowing down to a walk, Noah glanced over his shoulder towards Teanna, "We're going to get you some food. What do you like to eat, anyways?" His tone was almost relaxed, and truly casual. Lately, he's been having lots of casual conversations with the people he met from his travels, and perhaps the little experiences sharpened his social skills. Noah feels as if he's starting to like to talk.
"You need new clothing, and a bath." Blinking, the sun was in his eyes. Shaking his head, his hair got in front of his eyes, providing some sort of protection. Noah noticed once again that his hair's turning white. He could smell Teanna, since she was .. kind of close. The smell made his nose wrinkle some, but he made no comments on it.

| -As soon as he had slowed down, Teanna unwrapped her arms from around him. "Stop." Then she unwrapped one leg, bringing herself down to the ground, followed by the other. She stood a bit behind him as she had done before, and despite her appearance and health, she kept her back straight, and head held high. "I could probably state every food that I tasted, and want them all. Of course you can't provide them all. So what may I eat? Bread and water if you can give me that." A brow lifted as she heard his voice, a real change in him she saw. When she had first met him, he was so silent, so conserved. Now, he spoke. It spoke, since he was still a complete mystery to her.
Now, awake and completely aware, she caught the scent of her own skin. Teanna immediately gagged and stepped back. "GOD! You could've told me I stank!" She yelled then burst out laughing. Her father used to tell her she looked heavenly when she laughed, he used to say she glowed when she was happy. Maybe it was true, maybe smiling, laughing, did make her seem more... more natural. Not so out-of-place and lonesome.
"Yes I do really need a bath... Food first. Then a bath. But I don't want to scare people with the way I smell. I'm a bloody walking corpse! Zombie!" |

| Noah's movements halted when Teanna told him to stop. Turning around with arms ready in case she'd fall again, he noticed how Teanna's still able to hold her head high. A proud girl, indeed. Noah didn't bother with asking her if she's alright. He already knew her reply. Gradually, he's actually getting a grip on her personality. Then her brow perked. Blinking, Noah wondered what she's thinking about. It would be so nice to take a peek. Too bad he can't.
"You do stink." Noah watched her laugh, and a hand would snap up to brush the hair from his eyes. Scratching his head thoughtfully as he watched Teanna, a grin blossomed over Noah’s lips. It seemed that her laughter and smiles were contagious.Yes, he grinned. The lines that usually wove near his eyes whenever he thinks [which, by the way, is almost every single moment he's alive], faded, and disappeared entirely. Noah looked truly like the young man he is. His lips would curve up in an expression that could actually brighten his facial features. For a few seconds, Noah looked like the man he could've been, if he didn't have so many responsibilities, and such a disturbing history.
To most, Noah is the haughty, handsome, and enigmatic traveler of Aenied. His grin contradicted the mostly negative status, and then as sponetaneously as it came, the cheerful expression faded. "You are my guest here. You will have the best I can possibly offer." With that said, Noah turned and stepped further into the streets of Nede, not even bothering to glance over his shoulder to check if she'd follow. For some reason, he knew that Teanna would be behind him wherever he went.
