-Teanna walked along the street, the keys jingling in her hand as she walked. Another day at the restaurant, hopefully it wouldn't be as crowded as the day before. It wasn't as much of a crowd as the food that completely terminated her. It took a while to prepare all the meals by herself, actually, it took so long that she hadn't even had time for a bite. In the morning she'd heated up a bowl of soup, and throughout the day she'd take another spoon of it, and another, but at the end of the day, the bowl was still half-full! Barely any time on her hands. But it made her happy, that it did.

Teanna unlocked the large gates and left them open then continued up the path to the entrance. It was still dark out, very early. She had to start early, since some people came in for breakfast. There were two poles on either side of the entrance door, and a red velvet rope that hung between them. That meant that the restaurant was closed. She'd usually keep all doors closed, so the only way people would know if it was open or not, was to check if the velvet rope was there. Teanna removed the rope then unlocked the door and stepped inside. The scent of wood filled her nostrils. Always so fresh.

Teanna had removed her shoes and placed them in the cubicle on the left-hand lower corner, that was her cubicle. Obviously nobody wanted to bend down so low to place their shoes there. The restaurant was always clean in the morning, she'd set new stained glass plates on the tables every night, along with fresh cutlery and fresh napkins. Always different colours. She liked napkins.

Teanna left the door open this time, she wanted fresh air, and then she walked into the kitchen. There were already pots on the stove, already cut vegetables in the fridge. Perfect, always, every night she'd take care of it all.

She would only turn the heat up when the first customer walked in, and since there was nobody there... BREAKFAST! Teanna sat down at the bar with her small bowl of soup as always, and sipped away.-

Jikeidan'in, in Japanese, meant vigilante. A vigilante is basically a hero, save for the part that no one really thanks them. A vigilante breaks the laws to enforce it, in some weird, paradoxical way. That's about the fundamental difference of a vigilante, and a hero. No one thanks a vigilante. They live a life of danger, constantly on the look out against those who would be willing to turn them in, for their own selfish gains.

Noah hadn't been here for awhile. He was nostalgic. How long has it been, really? Six months? Perhaps. These past months, Noah honed his newly discovered talents in psion, and started on the journey to discover himself. He had been training with an old acquaintance, but now Noah believes he's ready. He came back to Nede recently, to rejoin the society he so detested before. But it wasn't only that. Secretly, Noah wanted to come back and see someone. This half year has left him longing for a certain girl. Through the days and nights, even in training, she's the one in the back of his head, whispering to him of an appealing future. It actually gave Noah a sense of direction, a future to look forward to. He wanted to come back, to see if he still wants to kiss her. But perhaps he is just being foolish. It's been such a long time. Perhaps she wed to another man, and is already pregnant with their children. Who knows. That's the typical lifestyle of a human being.

A black trench-coat would cascade down the length of Noah's buff frame, reaching below his knees. The design of the coat itself would be rather peculiar, with some kind of decor in white thread of a lion on the front. Loosely fitting white pants would hug at Noah's hips, then flow down his legs in a fashionable, but somewhat casual flare. If one looked upon Noah, they would see he's vastly different than what he once was. His hair by then was almost purely polar white, cut at the edges roughly, as if by razor. But there was something about Noah now that made him different. It could be how relaxed he seems, and the light-hearted expression upon his features that used to be so solemn.

Upon arriving at the restaurant that Noah knew Teanna owns, his nimble fingers trailed along the thick belt upon his waist. Should he go in? The thought flashed in his conscious, but Noah didn't really consider it. He was just procrastinating. He knew he'd go in eventually. Pulling a leather bag over his shoulder, Noah reached the garden. Roses. Just like the ones I got her. These thoughts would bounce around Noah's head in a wild frenzy, then gradually quiet down. What a pretty garden. Noah strolled through, pushing the door open without much effort.

Standing at the entrance, Noah's hand would lift to scratch his head in a gesture of thoughtfulness. A light green ribbon hung loosely around his neck, and a thick metal ring caught the light. Noah's eyes wandered the area, and the floor would support his muddy boots. Would I be able to control myself when I see her again? Noah wasn't really looking around. Although his dark optics darted about, he was thinking of a particular girl with a delicate face, and a bold personality.

-Teanna sat there, drinking her soup. It must've been the first time she'd actually sat down in the past three months. That's when it had started getting crowded. She preferred it crowded, since whenever the people left, all she could do was think of what could have been if Noah hadn't left. The young woman looked up above the wine racks, where there was a small frame: petals pressed between the glass and foam. Orchid petals, and rose petals. Petals from the two flowers he had given her. In the beginning, when she put them up there, she wanted to break it, throw them away, but then they looked so beautiful on the wall. It was abstract in a way, something strange to have framed, people liked it, but to her... it meant a whole lot more. Only palpable reminder of him.

She hadn't changed much at all, her hair was a bit more golden, more blond than before. Probably because of the sun. Her skin was also a bit darker. She had worked outside quite a long time, to make the garden so beautiful, to make the pond. It had taken her such a long time. Today, she wore a short dress, white cotton, tight around her body down to her waist, then flared out down to her knees.

Teanna quickly got up and grabbed a menu as she saw a figure approach. "Welcome to Eclipse. Table for..." She stopped, completely frozen as she realized the figure standing by the steps was none other but Noah. Noah. Noah. Noah. Noah. Noah. Noah. "...one?" Teanna continued as she regained herself. Her arm stretched out, motioning for him to come in.

Noah's eyes lingered on something above the wine racks. It made his heart skip a beat. Could it be? Noah saw orchid and rose petals, and he knew it must be from the flowers he gave her. Teanna was drinking soup, and Noah noticed how her hair was slightly different. And yes, her skin's gotten darker. A part of Noah wondered if her hair still felt the same as when he last touched it. She looks real nice in that dress. Noah learnt to appreciate and convey beauty, but something about Teanna would be able to make him bashful.

When Teanna got up, Noah glanced towards her stomach. It seems that she's not pregnant. Eclipse... "..Do I have to take off my shoes?" His own voice sounds alien to him, with its smooth, light tone. It seems he learnt some social skills. Noah's eyebrows would lift as he glanced down at his muddy boots, and a grin appeared on his face. It was a slightly wide grin, with the edges of the lips tugged up, making him appear younger, happier.

Noah just stood there, eyes still on Teanna's figure. The familiar urge grabbed him again, and he stepped forward without even waiting for her to reply. His physique moved across the floor, and he stood right in front of her. The tips of his fingers twitched, and Noah was left breathless once again. He could see himself in his head reaching out, bringing her body against his own, lips on hers .. But in reality, he just stood there, staring at her in silence.

Teanna watched him, her lips curled into a broad smile. She couldn't believe it. He... He came back to her. He came back. "It's alright... I have to.. Uhm, mop.. the floors again. Co-" But he had already come in. And he was approaching her. Teanna felt her heart pounding in her chest. He was so very close to her. "Noah..." Teanna whispered, looking up into his eyes. She wondered if he knew how he made her feel. Her whole body was weak in some sense, and she could barely contain herself.

But before she could let her rational side speak up, Teanna wrapped her arms around him. "You're back." She smiled, yes, she had stated the obvious, but it didn't matter. She had to hold him, she had to make sure she wasn't dreaming. She had to know this wasn't some mind game. But he didn't fade, he was right there, right there with her.

She wondered if he had noticed, noticed the flowers on the wall, and the roses, and, and everything she'd done to the place, all the improvements. Her eyes sparkled, and she stared up to him. He seemed so relaxed, how he had changed, so very much. A hand reached up, and her fingers brushed over his cheek, and down to his lips, as he had done outside the shop, long months ago. Teanna wondered if he would stay this time, she hoped he would, after all, he was supposed to taste some of her food wasn't he? And see the clothes she'd made, right?

She had his arms around him, and Noah leaned into her embrace. Noah felt her fingers brushing along his face, and his arms would lift. His palms traveled down the length of her arms smoothly, tracing the delicate curve before he felt an almost animal desire spark in the depths of his being. These months, he yearned for her. It seems as if she longed for him, too. Noah slid the bag from his arm, dropping it to the floor with a thump.

She seemed almost lonely, despite her busy schedule and smile. "...I see that you're doing fine." He wanted to grab her, to kiss her, to get Teanna to teach him how to love. Noah was taught as a child to hate and fear, nothing more than that. He doesn't know how to love, or express it, rather. He wanted to learn this from Teanna. But then something stopped him when he leaned down towards her. He remembered what Alex, his assassin friend, had said before they parted ways: A distance must be kept, for the sake of others, if not for yourself. A vigilante has no future. Think before you act, for others' sake.

"Do you have food?" Noah pulled from her, keeping himself from having to think on the difficult topic by focusing on food. He's not really that hungry, but perhaps it'd seem more polite if he pulled away out of hunger, than anything else.. Then there was a noise outside. It sounds to Noah something like yelling, and his head would turn, glancing towards the door. How peculiar. "What's the ruckus for?" Noah said that more to himself than to anyone else. At least this would provide him some sort of distraction.

-Teanna shuddered at the feel of his fingers, she'd longed for his touch, for his presence, for his smile. The loud sound the bag made when it fell to the ground, didn't as much as make her twitch. "Yes... I guess you can say so." She hadn't much noticed that he was leaning in, it looked almost like he bobbed his head, since had had moved back so quickly. Teanna immediately snapped back to reality. He was back, that was all that mattered. Dinner, breakfast, lunch, a comfortable bed, it didn't matter what he wanted, she wanted to take care of him as he had taken care of her. She wanted to show him who she truly was, for she hated the image of the frail little being who could hardly stand on her own.

"Of course. But... It'll take a while for it to cook. Hope you're not very hungry." She bent over and picked up the bag he had dropped, then tucked it behind the counter. And then she looked down, mud on the floor. Oh thank God he hadn't stepped on the Persian carpet. "Could I ask you to take off your shoes now? I'd like to wa-" She was interrupted mid-sentence by the yell outside. What the Hell was that? The sound actually had startled her, oh well, maybe somebody had dropped something on their own feet... Poor feet.

Teanna slipped away from him and pulled a cloth from under the sink. She moistened it then walked over to him and kneeled down, scrubbing the mud trail he had left, out of the floor.-

A thought occurred to Noah: Teanna would make a good house wife. He thought on this for a moment, but came to the conclusion that she'd be more than that. A house wife is plain, usually a mundane, weak-willed women over-ruled by the husband. Noah had no interest in those types. Teanna would be bold, strong-willed, and out-spoken, all of which were appealing traits to Noah. He shook himself from his little daydream, and stepped back towards the entrance of the restaurant. "Lets see what the commotion is about."

Noah thought for a moment. He came back to see if he still wanted to kiss her. Yes, in fact, he does want to. But he couldn't. Then why did he come back? This is rather unusual. His plans aren't usually so .. flawed. It's as if he never noticed such an obvious loophole until now. Maybe his mind is purposely pushing the notion of the flaws out of his consciousness, because he wanted to see Teanna so badly. The mind is a powerful thing, that much Noah knew.

Noah is a very curious being, almost to the point of being nosy, but he usually can abstain from asking of others' business. But he was hearing yelling outside, and it sounds pretty urgent. Noah was outside in seconds, fixating his eyes on a building nearby. There seemed to be someone standing atop of the three-story building, screaming. Noah scratched his head, and headed in that direction. As he got closer, he heard bits of what the man was yelling, "I'll jump right now!" "Find her!"

-Teanna watched him, then burst out laughing at the way he left and returned, of course smearing mud all-over the floor she'd just cleaned. Teanna got up and just threw the cloth away, she'd take care of that another time. She thought he'd make a few more trips, since that was three already. She couldn't contain her laughter, the expression on his face when he'd walked back in was quite funny. What had she done to Noah?

She had walked into the kitchen, turning on the stove. She'd best make the food while he was checking out where the ruckus was coming from. Her hand lifted to her lips, and she let a few fingers trace over them. She wondered how it would be like to kiss him? She wanted to, very much. She wanted him to hold her tightly, to kiss her as though he was to never see her again.

Teanna wondered if soup would be fine for him, or what..She hadn't asked him what he wanted. Her hands were shaking, she couldn't shake the feeling of him off of her, the warmth that spread through her body. She should ask him what he wanted to eat. "Noah?" She called out, slowly making her way over to the entrance.

Noah stood in front of the three-story building, pulling out a tiny box of crackers from the inside of his coat. Ripping the top of the paper box off, Noah took a cracker between two fingers. The guy up there was raving about committing suicide, and here's Noah, eating a cracker. Noah didn't get it. If the guy wanted to kill himself, he'd have jumped off awhile ago. His yelling was just a sign of his call for help, attention, or whatever it was. Noah scratched his head again, and popped the cracker into his mouth. There were slight crunching noises as Noah chewed, and eventually swallowed.

Glancing over his shoulder, Noah wondered if anyone was nearby. Where did Teanna go? He thought he had told her to come with him. Throwing another cracker into his mouth, Noah rubbed the sole of his shoes against the floor stolidly. After finishing the crackers, Noah unzipped his bag, reaching in to curl his digits around the katana hidden underneath the layers of clothing. The specially designed runes upon the handle of the blade would glow faintly, not enough to attract anyone's attention. Noah got this blade from his assassin friend, who possessed majestic skills with weapon creation. Noah was grateful to the man for offering him a chance to restart anew, and become an overall stronger person.

-Teanna glared at him for a while, she wasn't much interested in the raving of the man above, she was making food, and he was eating!? She quickly stomped over to him, then grabbed the box of crackers right out of his hands. He could stand outside and watch for all she cared, but there would be nothing left to watch soon enough. Teanna moved her arm back, then swung it as hard as she could, throwing the box of crackers towards the man that was so eager to commit suicide. The box smashed against his face then fell down against the roof.

Without a word, she walked back inside and glared at the floors. So dirty. She hated dirty floors. Teanna grabbed the mop from the broom closet, and began scrubbing the floors of all the marks he left. She heard the water boiling so she dropped the mop and went over to the kitchen, dropping in the rice and vegetables into the pot. Food'd be done soon. And he had been eating crackers.

She rolled her eyes and went back to the main-room, continuing to scrub the floors.

Noah stared at Teanna in shock. What in the world is she doing?! Watching the man get hit by the box of crackers, Noah stifled a chuckle by biting his lips. The man up above fell back, going quiet. But at least he didn't jump. Noah released the concealed katana inside his bag, and zipped it back up. Noah took his time with goin' back into Eclipse. Teanna's still as bad-tempered as before, I see. A smile almost flittered across Noah's face when he thought of the times that Teanna got mad. It seemed that he had a special talent with provoking her.

Alas, Noah was inside, but he made sure to take his boots off and set them on the racks. Stepping lightly onto the floor in his dark socks, Noah sat down on a random chair. Folding his arms over his chest, Noah would stretch out his legs under the table. His eyes were on Teanna, watching her intently as she wiped the floor, then went to the kitchen, and eventually came back to scrub the floors. Women are so weird.

-She could smell the food. Yes, yes, it was almost done. That was the beauty of preparing everything before she left for sleep. Which wasn't that bad, since all she had to do was go up the stairs. Though sometimes in the morning she'd have to go buy groceries, to replenish the fridge. Teanna tucked the mop away and walked back into the kitchen. First things first. She tied her hair up, which made her look quite different. When her hair was up, her jaw-line was a bit stronger, making her face more oval. In a way it made her more beautiful, but it gave her a sort of stern look, unless of course she smiled. Teanna washed her hands and pulled out one of the many stained glass plates.

She put some rice on the side, sprinkling a bit of salt and some basil over it, before placing strips of grilled chicken breast beside it, topped off with a soft spicy sauce. She liked the flavour, and apparently so did some of her customers. She brought the plate out of the kitchen and approached his table. He really looked handsome. She wasn't sure why she was so attracted to him, but she felt the need to be close to him. Teanna placed the plate in front of him and automatically said "Would you like anything to drink?" She burst out laughing then brought a finger up to her lips. "Sorry... Little.. Reflex I have there."

Teanna pulled up the chair beside him and sat down, crossing her legs as she watched him. She wasn't watching him to see if he'd eat or anything, she was just... staring in his approximate direction.

The faintest sign of amusement sparked in the depths of Noah's dark eyes, and he smiled briefly. It was just the slightest lift of his lips, but he looked less stern. Perhaps his serious features are naturally born, though there is a possibility that it's just from his adapted solemn behaviors. Noah noticed how her face seemed more oval once her hair's tied up. She looked less childish, and Noah paused to gaze at her for a moment's silence. It could almost be considered staring, but Noah quickly looked away.

His head lowered to eye the food, then he looked up to Teanna. He remembered how he had said that he hoped she could cook, and Teanna seemed rather offended. Never doubt a woman's cooking skills. Her food definitely does seem appealing, but .. Where's the utensils? "..Do I eat with my hands?" Noah blinked, then realized how rude his question was. Getting up, Noah extended a hand towards Teanna, "Show me where I can get some utensils?" Lately, Noah's been putting in more effort to be patient and polite.

Then a thought occurred to him, "Aren't you hungry?" Noah stared at Teanna, eyeing her figure. Is she on a diet? She certainly doesn't seem like she needs one. It was rather strange of her to just sit down and watch him eat when she barely ate anything herself.

-Teanna blinked. She must have put the plate over them. She stood up and lifted the plate. No utensils. "Oh... I must've forgotten. I'm sorry." Teanna was about to turn when she noticed his hand. Her fingers twitched slightly, but nevertheless, she wrapped her fingers around his hand and held onto it tightly. She tugged him after her as she walked into the kitchen, quickly glancing over at the petals on the wall before they entered. She still hand't let go of his hand, not sure if she was even willing to, but she had to. It was her right hand. She needed it.

Teanna let go of him and opened one of the many drawers which had cutlery in it. She pulled out a fork and a knife then placed them in his hands. "Here you go." She smiled faintly at his words and shook her head. "No, I ate when you came in. I'm alright. Just... don't really have the ability to stomach anything right now." She stood in front of him for a moment, looking up into his eyes before stretching her arm out. Her fingers pointing at his table. "You should eat. It'll get cold."

When Teanna's hand clasped his, Noah's fingers curled, gripping hers firmly. He remembered how she had examined his head, and commented about his lack of lines. It was so long ago, but somehow the memory was still fresh to Noah. It's as if each moment spent with her is fresh, and precious in itself. Then Teanna let go of him, and Noah flexed his fingers slowly. Noah curled his fingers around the fork and knife Teanna gave him, and he'd stare down into her eyes briefly.

"Come and .. sit with me." Noah reached out, grabbing her by the arm and tugged her towards his table. He was sitting down on a chair, putting the utensils on the table near his plate before he alas, but rather reluctantly, let her go. Noah picked up a fork and dipped it down towards the chicken, stabbing it, thus picking it up. Bending his head, Noah took a bite of the chicken, chewing as he savored the flavor. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed food. Noah smiled, that same rare, kind smile before he waved her down towards him.

-She smiled happily at him, she cherished every touch, every moment she had with him, for she'd come to know that he could leave any moment. But she didn't want him to. Teanna followed him, standing beside him as he ate. She was pleased that he was eating, for some reason, she doubted that her food would please him, though she did not know why. Well, he had liked it, hadn't he?

Teanna sat down beside him, crossing her arms under her chest in a sort of restraint. She wanted to touch him, place her hand on his shoulder, on his arm, anything. She enjoyed his smile, she'd missed it very much. "You know what..? I'm sort of hungry." Teanna spoke before she stood up, taking a look at him before she turned away. She feared that he would vanish into thin air, she feared that he would just... disappear, run away from her.

She fetched a few slices of bread and some cheese and carrots from the fridge. She couldn't eat much. She wanted to, she wanted to feast, but she couldn't. Her stomach forbade her. Teanna walked back to the table and sat down, tearing a small piece of bread with her fingers. "Did you like the garden?" She smiled at him, placing the piece of bread in her mouth-

Noah's usually a fast eater, but he took his time today. Eventually, he knew he'd leave. Noah is not one to stay in one place, but Nede's the closest he's ever had to a home. He almost missed it, the people in it. Noah paid close attention to her body-language, how her arms were crossed her her chest strangely. People usually stand around with arms folded, but Noah's not seen many who sit down and do that. And those who do tend to be nervous, for in body-language, it does look pretty closed up. What is Teanna hiding?

Noah was finishing the rice and chicken, then looked up at Teanna's question, "Yes. It seems that you put a great deal of work on it." It does seem that Teanna worked hard on the whole structure of the place. Noah remembered the petals above the wine racks. "Give me a tour of what you did to the place upstairs?" Noah's eyebrows lifted, in a sort of encouraging fashion towards Teanna. Putting the fork down near the plate, Noah passed his tongue over his lips. He hadn't tasted something like that before. He would come again, definitely. But Noah doesn't know when exactly he would come back, if he does leave soon.

"Did you feel lonely these past months?" It was a strange question, Noah knew. But he wanted to know. It'd be likely that Noah would stay in Nede for a few days, maybe weeks or more. But he would need a place of shelter. Perhaps he could rent a room from Teanna, if she has one to spare.

-Teanna stood up as soon as he finished, and she took the plate and the utensils. "Did you like it?" She smiled at him then motioned for him to follow her. "It wasn't great work, fixing this place up I mean. I wanted it to look good." Teanna spoke as she washed his plate and fork, and knife. She stared at the stained glass for a bit, she didn't really know why she chose them as plates, but they looked pretty, different, odd, they were something people didn't expect.

"Upstairs actually, is off limits. I didn't want to rent the rooms. It might be odd but I don't want people i can't trust up there. This is my home. And my work-place. My life. I can't just have a stranger come in here, pay me a few coins, and completely destroy a room."
She tilted her head to a side, looking at him. Surprised at his question. She didn't even know if she should answer him. It was odd for him to ask that. Teanna nodded her head a bit. "Very." She answered, the smile fading from her lips. It had been a long six months. Months which she spent alone, with the exception of this one stray dog that wandered into her house and stayed with her for a few days.

"Come on.I'll show you."
She pointed at the stairs. She did work a lot on the bedrooms. Why? Well she didn't know why. But wasn't it odd to have a beautiful restaurant but the rooms to look disgusting? Yes it was. Which is why she didn't rent them out to just anybody. "Where are you going to be staying while you're in Nede?" Teanna looked at him as she walked up the stairs. The floors were the same as in the restaurant area. Except for a long Persian carpet than ran all the way down the hallway. She opened the door to one of the rooms and led him inside. The walls were a light peach colour, and the ceiling was a light yellow. The floor was a thick white carpet, and there was a fur spread over the bed. She'd taken care of the place. Oh yes.

Noah nodded, "Yes, I did." He got up, following closely behind Teanna. He would lean against the wall, hands sliding inside his pockets as he observed her precisely. Noah felt so peaceful here, even if it means just standing there, watching Teanna clean. He liked the place very much, indeed. Noah noticed the smile that disappeared, and his head would cock aside questioningly. "I felt abit lonely myself." It was a rather bizarre reply, espicially from Noah, since he's a reserved person that bottled up their thoughts. But he was being honest. Although Noah spent the months with his old friend, Alex, there's not really a bond between them. That's how Noah treats most people. It's a trade. He provides them something, and they give him something in return. It wasn't like that with Teanna. In a way, he was lonely, because he did, indeed, miss her dearly.

"I"m not sure. I came back to pay some people a visit. It'd be likely that I'd leave again soon, considering how hard it is to find a place to stay around here." Noah avoided her eyes then. The 'people' of which he mentioned includes her. Noah's eyes swept over the room Teanna led him into, and he brushed his white hair aside, tucking a strand behind his pierced ear. "It looks nice. Such elegant decorations must mean you're profiting, right?" Noah was glad that she was, remembering how anxious Teanna was at first. He hesitated, "I'm pleased that you're fine." There was an awkward silence after that, and Noah turned his attention away from her purposely, towards the room.

She smiled faintly at his reply. It was strange for him to say that, and she couldn't help but wonder if he really meant it. But then again, he never did lie to her. "You can stay here." Teanna quickly spoke. The words just poured right out. After she'd spoken did she realize what she had said. It's not that the invitation bothered her, but the fact that he might reject. "I mean.. If you don't find another place to stay... I can...always spare a room. For you." She realized that the more she tried to explain, the redder her cheeks got.

"Yes... I've had.. quite a lucky streak. Money-wise."
But she hardly had any time for herself. That bothered her a bit. She liked to take care of herself. "If you like the room..It really wouldn't bother me if you were to stay." Teanna's fingers stretched out, meaning to take his hand, but she curled them back in. She didn't want to bother him. She didn't want her actions to bother him. That's when she realized she had completely forgotten about her meal, oh well, she'd eat it later. "How long will you remain in Nede?" This time, her fingers curled around his wrist, pulling his hand closer before taking it in hers.

Noah noted how red her cheeks got, and an eyebrow would perk. "I'm not sure. Maybe a few weeks." He blinked when Teanna's fingers wrapped around his wrist, tugging at his hand then taking it. Noah felt his body stiffen slightly. For months, he tried to think of a way to touch her. But now that he's here with Teanna, he's left blank. "I can pay you for renting this room." He almost had to choke out the words, considering how nervous he got.

Noah thought of someone else that he had wanted to visit, and his fingers extended, brushing along her knuckles idly. "I must introduce you to Camile." He thought for a moment, grinning at the memories, "She is a most spectacular woman." Indeed, Camile is none other than Noah's mother. She would seem too young to be, since the age difference would be only of about ten years physically. But due to Lance's intervention, summoning Camile from the past, Noah's mother would seem rather young, barely ten years older than him in appearance. "A most beautiful woman, indeed." Noah's mind was already racing away, wondering what he should get for when he did go see her. For some unbeknownst reason, he wanted to introduce Camile to Teanna.

A few weeks! Teanna grinned at the thought. A few weeks where he'd be near her. Not necessarily near, but in the area. It was a lot better than the mere two days she'd spent with him. Not even two days! "Y-You.. No. I can't take money from you, Noah. Think of this as a gift. Stay here, please, as long as you like." Teanna looked about the room. There was a bit of dust, but she hoped it wouldn't bother him. Dust gathered. That was just it.

Then as she heard about the woman, Teanna froze up. She wasn't told that she was his mother, so all she could do was assume the worst. She assumed that she was the reason why he was not so close to her. She assumed that she must be his girlfriend, or or fiancee, or something. He had called her beautiful, and spectacular, when he could hardly say that she looked nice in items he bought for her. Surely, she must be his girlfriend. "O-oh..." Teanna whispered and let go of his hand. She felt sick, was she falling for a taken man? But..the way he looked at her, the way he spoke to her, no, no surely must care for her. He could not have a lover... It..It wasn't fair. "Camile... Is... she your..love?" Teanna's voice was shaking as she spoke the words.

Noah tilted his head, wondering why Teanna had seemed so nervous. This room was more than he dreamt of. Sometimes he would have to camp out in the wilderness, or just find a little place with some sort of covering to rest. Even with his position, Noah doesn't get paid for it much. His living is from the left-over money he got from his adopted parents. That's all they left him: money. They didn't give him what he needed, and Noah hated them with a passion. "Thank you." Noah said this softly, since he rarely thanked people. Remembering that awhile ago, he didn't thank her, Teanna actually slapped him. Noah grinned suddenly at the memories.

Noah would blink as Teanna froze up, and started to studder. It seemed strange to him. Why's she like this? Then at her question about whether Camile is his lover, Noah laughed aloud. Incest, if I did love her like that. "No." Brows lifting, Noah stretched his fingers, then reached out to curl his fingers around her upper arm, as if trying to help her balance herself, if she did fall. Teanna seemed kind of unstable right now. "...Camile's my mother." Noah blinked, and lifted one side of his lips in amusement. Is that why she got so worked up?

"Y-Your m-mother... Yes... Yes of course!" Teanna grinned and looked up, outside the small window in the room. She felt her heart pounding in her chest in joy. Maybe there was no other woman. "Please, make yourself at home." She then turned around and slowly pulled her arm out of his grasp, then walked out of the room. She hoped he'd like it. "I waited for you.." She whispered softly, turning her head to look at him. The reference was vague, she could have meant that she stayed in Nede in hope that she'd see her dear friend again, or maybe that she denied all men in hopes that he'd be with her. Considering the circumstances, though, it was obviously the latter.

She smiled up to him then slowly walked down the stairs, actually feeling a bit dizzy. But she wouldn't fall. Not this time. She walked back to the table where she had been seating with him, then continued eating her meal. Maybe she'd even get a chance to finish it. She looked across the hall, that's where her room was, first floor, sadly quite accessible, but it was so near. If she ever needed anything, she'd just open it, walk out, go the fridge and dive in.

Teanna sat there, ripping pieces of bread and eating them with the cheese and carrots. It was such a tiny meal! But it was all she required. Stupid stomach, she'd have to eat more often if she ever expected to be able to stomach some steak.-
