I was walking along a path in the orchard that I long abandoned, unkept it had grown in wildly, when I happened upon a stranger cloaked in fine dark silks.
The person stood directly in my path, to the left and right the trees were align.
The sun was high, yet despite the brightness of the day, the stranger managed to keep the light at bay;
A hood kept facial features not in shades of shadows, rather, in darkness that has never known the touch of light, if you know what I mean.
Of course, curious as I am, intrigued by such a sight, I wanted to meet the person especially when the person was on private property. My property.
