| Lake Everclear.
Said to be the biggest lake in Aenied. So the rumors say, it was a beautiful place to go to. That was for sure, traveling from the other side of Aenied just to see Everclear to Visit the town 'Bella'. She wanted to see the lifestyle of the town, which was said to vary from different styles. Not only that, but the place was floating on WATER! This seemed to interest Chiiharu the most . . . .Looking at the map she had got awhile back, it was basically a map about Lake Everclear. The lake was pure, you could basically see the bottom of it, it wasn't too deep to see. Everclear sure did make a good name for the lake.
Trees circling around the lake, with different types of fruits. She was so tempted to steal an apple, but didn't. The possiblities of actually getting to Bella, you could swim, or take a boat. She was on the shore side, it was night time. You could see the lights coming from Bella. The lights flickering off the waves of the lake. She would probably stay the night over here, under the stars and Visit Bella in the morning. Or maybe it would be best to go on into Bella and stay at an INN? She was pondering on which to do, personally she didn't want bugs crawling on her. So the boat was the best way to go, but she didn't know if she could get one at night.
Rules, rules, rules.
She had forgot to ask about this, or read about it. Gah, swimming wasn't that bad now was it? Indeed it was for her, at least. Chiiharu wasn't that good at swimming and at a long distance, it would be more difficult for her.
"What a pain. I better find out if theres a boat I can use."
With that Chiiharu went to the shore bank, where the boats de-parted to go to Bella's dock.

| The junior Noah rarely ever left home. He's too dear to his father for that. But his father had sent him away, telling him to go on an adventure, meet some friends, but to make sure to come home safely. That's precisely the life that Noah lived; even if he hates to admit it to his younger brother, Felix, the lifestyle they led back in Nede, the cultural town of the realm of Aenied, is rather mundane. But making new acquaintances is exactly what Noah fears! Compared to his beautiful brother, Noah is an introvert, and extremely socially awkward.
He reached his destination. Lake Everclear. He would go to Bella soon. That's also his sister's name. Stretching out his elegant fingers, Noah strode warily towards the shore, glancing over his broad shoulders quite a few times. Those symptons're the manifestation of paranoia, but truly, Noah's not insane. He's just shy.
He almost envies his brother. Felix is beautiful, a social butterfly, charming, friendly... Those traits, Noah wishes he'd possess. Born from two rather good-looking parents, Noah himself has some good looks also. He would be the exact replica of his father, save for the hair, eyes, and some minute details. They have similar strong-jaws, broad, fine figures, and agreeable faces. They both also look extremely solemn, which is never inviting. The breeze ruffled Noah's silky dark brown tendrils of hair, causing him to blink his light brown eyes.
Society never appealed to him much. Why go out when you can read a good book? Noah has been told that he'd turn out to be a hermit someday if he doesn't change his outlook. He can't help it that he's born with a genetic defect, whilst his brother is prancing about, in all aspects perfect. Noah frowned, scanning his astute pools over the territory -- something, or rather, someone, caught his attention.
"...Hi." Noah shuffled his feet nervously, eyes glued to the ground. He lifted a hand, waving at the female adjacent to him. The motion would seem awkward, but that's the junior Noah. Flawed.

| It was late at night....
The moon was out brightly....
With this, uncertainties were crossing the young females mind. An unexpected voice came to her. It was a simple 'hi'. Simple hi's weren't anything to fear, right? Oh so wrong.
Strangers. . . .
Weren't meant to be trusted, so says her mother. But what harm could it do? She never really trusted the male sex before. Men had the habit of touching woman in dirty places, places that weren't meant to be touched. That slightly annoyed Chiiharu to no end. But this male had a different type of feeling coming from him. But it could be a trap. . .She wasn't gonna let down her guard. She was a dancer, a entertainer of sorts. She was use to indecent behavior, but was it something to be really use to? Ugh, her eyes shifted to where the voice had come from.
"Hello."
She would be nice, she supposed. She wasn't really nice to males at all. Maybe, just maybe this one was different. She would give him the benefit of the doubt. Her brown locks swayed with the gentle movement of the wind. It was slightly windy that night also, but not too bad. It wasn't to the point of annoyance. She couldn't help to notice he was nervous. His feet playing against the grass, as his eyes were glued to the ground. That was awkward at the least. But she thought it was maybe his own way of saying hi, or something. Maybe a type of greeting from where he was from?
"Do you know if there's a boat working tonight? Or must I wait till the morning to travel over to Bella?"
Maybe this boy could have helpful answers, maybe not. Depends, no? Anyways, it couldn't hurt to ask. She was already getting inpatient waiting there to see if there was any boat in use. If there was one boat, would someone help her? She never really visited Bella before, nor has she ever been on a boat. This type situation was slightly getting on her nervous. Yes Chiiharu was somewhat bratty at times, but only when she hadn't got her beauty sleep, you could say. Ahem, she waited for the male to respond.

| The moon... Noah's hues lifted to the heavens above with his head cocking backwards, and the caruscating moonlight made him blink. "The moon...is like love." Then his eyes widened at the dawning realization that the girl could hear him. Coughing, he poked the blunt tip of his boots against the grass anxiously. Whenever he's uneasy, his flaw becomes more apparent, which makes him even more tense .. and people start backing away in fear.
Noah's head lifted away from the grass; his gaze was calm and kind, despite the obvious gestures of his that signified his solicitous emotions. He has honest eyes, like his father, except there was something arcane about them... there was a tinge of melancholy. Astute perception fixated upon the girl, until he felt the breeze around them pick up. He wondered if she's cold. Noah hesitated -- then dropped the very thought. Perhaps she would find him weird for asking.
"Few hours from now." He meant to say that in a few hours from now, the boat should come to pick up those that wants to go to the town of Bella. But that is his very genetic defect. His sentences often come out broken-apart, the very structure irregular. Heat rose to his cheeks, and his enigmatic mind worked, sifting through his thoughts. Yes, he would try to start a conversation. It'd be better than standing around staring at each other ... which is precisely what he wants to do.
"The sky, it's dark." .. Okay, maybe that was just him pointing out the obvious. Noah clasped his hands behind his back, fingers wringing tightly; thick eyebrows tugging together, and Noah could feel the beads of perspiration on the back of his neck. He bit his lips, and another sentence came out, "Bella. It's a beautiful name..." There must be something to keep this conversation open-ended. By then, Noah wishes he'd possess the skills his brother has for conversation, "...Isn't it?"

| This boy. . . .
Was it her, or was he slightly awkward? The thoughts running through her head gave her different picks of why he was being this way. One; he could possibly be a murderer, an insane murderer. Two; he could be a pedo, they seem crazy, right? Three; he could be. . .just weird. . . He pointed out the obvious, of course the sky was 'dark', it was night time. She wanted to say 'dur', but that would of been kind of rude. Maybe the guy wasn't all so bright, or had a hard time with social accounts. Either way, he seemed weird and odd to her. She kept her space, not wanting to get any closer to him at this moment in time. Is me or are strangers weird? Could possibly be only this boy. She thought to herself basically.
"The moon is like love?"
Yes she heard that comment as well, she was sort of wondering about it a bit. Her eyes shifting to the night sky, where the moon hanged. It would be nice to have a guy around, that was her type to cuddle with. The moon was an romantic mood setter, but right now. The mood wasn't meant for romance, she hardly knew the boy for one and he didn't seem the type she would be interested in. Considering he liked to play with the grass a lot, plus his sentences seemed to be broken apart. The boy also seemed to be nervous a lot, was because she was a female? Some guys did have hard times dealing with the opposite sex.
"Say."
She paused for a second, she couldn't help but wonder on this matter. Was he scared of the opposite sex, or was it something else? Oh well, she would have to break her space to confirm it or not. She let her form step forward slightly, before stepping closer once more. As she repeated her steps slowly, before actually coming in front of the male.
"Do you fear the opposite sex?"
Her eyes locked to his, as her face was really close as well. She waited for the response, something wanted it to be true, another didn't. She had a conflicting feeling really. She wanted to be mean, but yet wanted to be nice. These two feelings were conflicting badly right now. It was hard for her to keep her calm composure. She wanted to be bad. She couldn't stand being this close to him anymore. Her heart rate went up, as her heart started to pound, as her emotions kept conflicting.
"Ugh, men. They really make my stomach upset. They sicken me to a high degree, it's really upsetting. I can't stand being so close to him."
She was talking to herself. Right now, she looked like the basket-case. She was basically talking to herself, if the man heard, he would probably think it as a insult or something. But it wasn't her fault, she had bad encounters with men before, causing such emotions towards them. She just turned away from his form.
"Just stay over there. Since the boat isn't gonna come soon."
Maybe it was her who actually feared the opposite sex.

| Noah was counting each individual passing second. Although his behaviors are rather .. off, in comparison to the typical human being, his defect can be considered a gift or curse. His complex mind worked rapidly, scanning over the possibilities for the pause in the female's reply. She could find him weird .. which he kind of is. Out of the three siblings, he's the weird brother. Then Noah remembered his father's words: Stay safe. What if .. this female is some sort of serial killer? Even if Noah has been trained by his father and some visiting friends in the art of combat .. well, the possibilities are endless. But it seems more likely that she thinks him bizarre than anything else.
"It shifts." The reply was in regards to the female's question regarding the moon. It seems he had captured her attention, even if momentarily. Tilting his head, broad shoulders rolled back, he stared at the moon. "And it's never gone." Gradually, his head lowered. His eyes, almost depthless and radiating with an irregular steadiness, peered at her. The corners of his lips tugged upwards, and Noah smiled, for a second or two. It was a bashful smile, without much mirth within.
As she stepped forward, Noah blinked blankly. At her question, he didn't know if he should laugh .. or do something even more irregular. "I just don't like people." .. Did that sound rude? That's exactly what he meant, though. Noah doesn't like people. He'd rather read a book than go and socialize with the false affections of society. Pretensions are his abhorrence, to be quite honest.
Noah has never been so close to a female before .. save for his sister. And his sister's a lot prettier. He lowered his head, snickering some before he looked back up. "...You look like my sister." There was a pause, "She's prettier." ... Did he say something he's not supposed to?
Blinking his thick eyelashes, Noah cocked his head sideways. She thinks out loud ? He tried to put a legit sentence together, so there was a rather awkward silence for a few seconds. Then, "Truth is that one sex misunderstands the other, falling upon the flawed premise that both is one and the same." Noah sounds pretty intelligent when he said that. But as for whether it makes sense -- that's undecided.
By then, Noah's quick working mind was able to puzzle out some questions, like a jigsaw puzzle. That's how his mind works. Each thing is like a jigsaw that he can put together or take apart. "You .. scared of males." It wasn't a question. It was just a simple statement; a declaration of truth, as plain as Noah seemingly is.

| What?
Is all her mind could possibly say to his statement. She wasn't sure if she should even bother with this guy and his broken sentences were getting annoying! She wasn't prepared for this type of person, she hadn't even ran into this type of person before! "It shifts. It's never gone." Was his answers to the moon reply. All thought it was true, the moon never really disappeared. Always there, even during the day time, but isn't seen due to the sun and the tilt of the world. The world kept spinning, to shift from day to night. But of course any human or thing, or it or whatever he maybe, knew that.
Ah, so he doesn't like people? He should just stay home and never come out! So she thought, she didn't really like him right now. Her mind was conflicting to a strong degree and he was hitting the wrong buttons. She wasn't a killer, just had a serious temper, or mean streak. Her eyes widen when he told her she looked like his sister. Since the wind rushed against her ears, she was slightly hearing rumbles. So that part wasn't heard well. So she didn't know if he called her prettier, or if he was implying that his sister was. She let her arms lift up to cross over her chest, the wind blowing softly.
"I didn't hear you're whole sentence. Whom is prettier, your sister or I? "
Oh my, oh my. Her mind slid to a new subject which neither went over. Names, their names. Neither of them introduced themselves, they just started a random conversation basically. Oh and to his 'your...scared of males' thing, she forgot to even respond to that matter.
"I..I..I am not scared of males! What kind of statement is that!? Could you really say something so rude to a stranger, boy!? You hardly even know me, yet you start to assume things...
I bet'cha the studder of her voice gave it away. He hit home-base with his assumptions. But Chiiharu would never admit defeat, not to a stranger either!
Scared of males....
Scared of males. . . .
Her thoughts kept pondering on that. Was she scared of males? Was she? And another thing, if he said his sister was prettier, she was probably gonna flip on him. Or hit him on the side of the head, it was as if he didn't know what to say, or what not to say rather. It was getting to Chiiharu, since her emotions were already conflicting. Her mean streak was about to appear and it wasn't gonna be good

| Noah turned abruptly, and stared out into the night sky. It seemed as if he was talking to himself. "Always there, sometimes shifts due to the view, sometimes not seen...So pretty..Taken for granted.." There was a silence, then he glanced over his shoulder at her once, "Like love..." His mind is so quick and deep, in fact, that he often loses himself to his thoughts. "...Isn't it?" He had never experienced such a thing as love before, but he saw it between his parents. Even after having been together for years to give birth to three kids, they still love each other deeply. Noah could see it in the way they looked at each other, the way they mentioned the other, the way they talked of the past... A twinkle appeared in his eyes suddenly, something like amusement. He saw them argue a few times. It almost made Noah think that they didn't love each other.. But in fact, they still do. And so, there is the constant change of the view of the moon with the tilt and orbit, sometimes not seen..but always there. Always.
Noah was snapped out of his thoughts by a question. He turned 'round, facing her directly. "No one's prettier than sister..maybe mother." Then something his brother told him came to mind. "Don't care about it. Brother told me pretty girls're good liars." Noah wishes he's more like his brother.. Felix, the happy-go-lucky one, the charming, beautiful, sly brother of his... Noah is just -- awkward and flawed, obviously.
"I perceive." His hues burned against her, analyzing intensely. Her reaction in itself gave the answer. She would not need to be so nervous if she's not afraid of males. She would not react so if he didn't hit his target. His mind was flowing freely, bouncing to all sorts of places... What's her name?
Noah stepped forward suddenly, bulky build moving to be in front of her. "Noah. My father's name too." He blinked at her, then thought back on his words. "..Mother.." He hesitated, "Says honesty is a virtue. I don't lie." He shook his head as if to ensure the truth of his statement. Remembering how his father would shake hands with people, Noah swung out his arm. It was an uncoordinated movement, arm thrown out, hand extended. His elegant fingers curled around her hand, and he shook firmly. For some unbeknownst reason, he sensed this isn't the real way to shake hands.

| Annoyed.
Starting to get cold.
This was her night, she had encounter a total lunatic, whom seemed to be into incest of some sorts. He plainly claimed his sister and mother were more prettier then her. Gah, how she wanted to let her hand reach and smack the guy into the head. But ah well, if he was in love with his family so much, it was his problem, not hers to deal with. He started to mumble about some love non-sense, but also saying something about the moon. Yeah, yeah. The moon was pretty and it was shining, she got that part already. Her eyes shifted from the male, all she wanted now was the boat to arrive. She kept her eyes on the lake, the light waves hitting against the small rocks, that were placed by the shore. How many minutes has it been since she met this guy? She thought for a second about what he had said about 'love', she hadn't had a love interest before either. She had been alone most of the time, maybe sometime along the line, she'll finally find someone. Someone who could handle her hot-headed-temper.
"Love. Never really been with anyone, so I guess I don't know what the love word actually means. I know what they say it means, but it's kinda a useless meaning with out actually feeling it, right?"
Her attention then shifted back to him once more. 'Pretty girls are good liars'. . . .Eh, he was actually pulling that out, come on! Like guys didn't lie either, it was a lying circle of shame! She shruged lightly to his words, she could careless about what a stranger thought about her looks anyways. All thought complements weren't too bad either. It was something girls wanted to hear, something flattering to make themselves feel good about themselves. Anyways, he perceives, what? She got confused about that part, she had forgotten about the whole 'scared' of opposite sex question. So that was out of her mind right now, all thought she kept her distance from him.
"I guess, depends on the girl. And guys aren't that trustworthy either."
She gave him an evil glance, before hearing his footsteps. Wait, wha? Footsteps, she then noticed he had came closer to her form, she told him to stay away! What was his deal!? Didn't he not listen to her words!? She stepped back, before feeling his grip on her hand. It was a pretty tight grip, what was he up to!? He had her, he was holding her hand, till she feel it shake. Hearing him explain something about his fathers name being 'Noah?' So Noah was his name? And did really listen to his mother, if so, then why isn't he with her right now?
"My mother always said, not to trust a stranger. Males are the worse kind of stranger. Males are stronger then females in a big degree, if you can't out power your enemy, you must out think him. Always good to listen to mother and you're hurting my hand. That's not a proper hand shake."
Her eye seemed to twitch to the pain of the tight grip, you would think he would know how to shake a hand at least. She tugged her hand back in hopes he would let go, maybe they could try over. With a better hand shake.
"The name is Chiiharu."

| Noah thought back to her question. He's not afraid of females... right? He has always been comfortable around his mother and sister. They're family. That's how Noah views things. He loves them; he cares about them, afterall, they've given him so much joy, and so, they are the most beautiful people on the whole of Aenied. He remembers how it was like, being near girls outside the family. Some had tried to get close to him, due to his looks -- He found them stupid and foolish, giggling over some nonsense one time or another. Noah has no skill with pretending that he's interested in something he's not; he's definitely not interested in petty matters. His gaze turned towards the waves, listening to the rhythmic beating against the miniscule rocks. Almost like music...
Noah was broken out of his reverie by spoken words. Broad eyebrows tugging upwards, his head would tilt sideways. He could agree with that. Afterall, knowledge unused is useless. Noah pondered over that thought, then words slipped past his parted lips, "Useless knowledge." Wide shoulders shrugged; it seems as if his reply once again made no sense. Only his family understands. Afterall, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
"Men are often led by their illogical impulses and emotions." At least that's a complete sentence, right? He was shaking her hand vigorously, then there was a pause so he could listen. Her mother sounds sexist. Then again, perhaps she's right. Males are physically stronger, generally. To not trust a stranger, though? Noah's father told him that, too. Perhaps all parents give approximately the same sort of advice to their kids. "Chii...haru." He repeated it a few times, "Chii..haru. Chiiharu. Chiiharu." It sounds funny to him. Words speak to him, or so he thinks. Each has an interesting sound, able to be used to almost make music. He released Chiiharu's hand, then a spontaneous thought came to mind. He stared down at his palm, before glancing back up to her, "Bella...It's a good name." Well, maybe that was kind of vague. His shuffled his feet anxiously, creasing his brows to form a slight frown. Focusing on what he's wanting to say, and adjusting the very sentence, took him quite a few seconds.
"...True love--" He paused, taking a deep breath, "Goes beyond romance."

| Chiiharu never really had any contact with males, besides business. She would dance for festivals and other things. She never really gotten close in a relationship, nor friendship type wise. The only close person to her, was her mother. She also danced and entertained, thats why Chiiharu picked up that type of business. Plus, she loved to dance. It was part of her, like music was part of others. She loved to dance for people, in cowards and for family members, it was something she enjoyed. She let her glance shift to the sky once more, the wind brushing her hair against her cheeks. She wasn't paying attention to his shake, since it wasn't proper to her. She grunted, her teeth grinding together for a moment. His hand shake was really vigorous. Once he spoke, her head tilted towards him. 'Useless knowledge', she could possibly agree to that.
"Useless indeed."
She was finally reliefed when he decided to let go of her hand. She thought he was gonna rip it off for a second. Men were led by impulses, that could possibly be it. It wasn't too much to go on anyways, all she knew was, that males were disgusting at times. It made her sick to even think about it. She had given him her name, he seemed to say it in parts at first. Then repeated it. Her name wasn't all that bad, was it? Nor was it exciting, that was for sure. So why repeat it? She didn't really understand why he was doing. Anyways, she had decided before this even happened, that he was weird.
"Why are you repeating my name? Its not an exciting name, I know that."
She shifted her attention back to the sky, listening to the wind for a moment. The wind was silent at times, but once rubbing against an object, it gave off a calming sound, if the wind was pushing it against it fast enough at least.Bella was only a few minutes away. A place floating on water, that was the reason she was here. The mere thought of a town floating on water excited her. She was easy to please, that was for sure. 'Bella' was a okay name, she supposed. Not something she would be joyous over.
"Its an okay name. Why do you like that name so much anyways?"

| Noah looks up to his parents. His father, reserved, but loving towards the family. He wants to be as strong as his father. His mother, petite, beautiful, headstrong, and straight-forward. That's where Noah got his honesty from. He tells the truth, just as his mother would. Truth is, no one could be more beautiful than his sister and mother. They were patient, trying their absolute best to understand him even if he made no sense at all sometimes. It almost seems as if Noah lives in his own world; different than most people, most tends to shy away from him, despite his ability to quickly absorb information, and good looks. He has never met a girl that possesses the wisdom and strength his mother has, or the kindness in his sister. Noah stayed away from his brother whenever he can. They are complete opposites. Noah, known for being awkward and anti-social, whilst his brother, Felix is charismatic and amiable. Truly, no one would even expect them to be related. It is quite obvious that Noah isn't nearly as skilled with the female sex as his brother is -- perhaps that's another of his weak points. He seems to have too many to count.
Noah shook his head in disagreement. "Each name has a sound. They speak of the character." He gazed intently at Chiiharu, trying to comprehend the sound of the name. He knows that Noah sounds noble to him, which would perfectly describe his father. Noble and honourable.. Noah tries his best to be like his father. And Felix is a happy sound, and the word itself means joy. Indeed, Felix is a happy-go-lucky type of person. Or his mother's name, Teanna. Sometimes they shortened it to Tea. Tea, sharp, to the point, just like his mother. Noah's mother is fair, but straight-forward, sometimes blunt to such a degree.
"My sister's name." Indeed, Bella is his sister's name. Perhaps Chiiharu didn't understand that Noah was saying Bella means true love goes beyond romance. He cleared his throat, and said once again, "Bella -- true love.. goes beyond romance." Perhaps that is a rather puzzling phrase. True love is often linked to romance, and to separate the pair would be .. difficult, at the least. "Pretty, huh?"
Noah clasped his hands behind his back, then turned his back on Chiiharu to watch the waves. The continuous cycle... Indeed, it reminds Noah of human life. The continuous cycle of human life, until alas, an end would surely come. But when?

| Tonight wasn't getting her anywhere. She had to wait for hours for a boat ride, she wanted to hurry and go to Bella already. Waiting around was getting boring, nothing more to do then talk to this strange boy. He also didn't seem so nice, he was either disliking her already or not really meaning what he says. Either way, he was getting on her nervous. Every word has a sound? That was an interesting way to see it. But it was his way she supposed. It was a new way of looking at names for her at least. She never really had any thoughts about it before.
She blinked slightly while thinking about this, before she heard him speak once more. 'My sister's name?' What was his sisters name? She didn't believe she asked about his sisters name, unless that was his response to her question about the name 'Bella'? She was kinda stunned for a second, pondering on his words. He didn't seem to finsh the sentence right. 'Bella'-true love, goes beyond romance.' She listened to the words, before answering back. She could only guess what he was talking about, possibly it was his sisters name. And the meaning was that phrase he gave. He did seem to have a sort of affection for his sister, so that had to be it.
"Bella, is your sisters name, I assume? And what you told me, is the meaning of 'Bella'?
She looked back out to the lake, the city of Bella was beautiful, guess the name sort of matched with it. The boat wasn't gonna be here for awhile and standing was getting tiring. So she let her form slide into the grass, her back arched. Her hands laying behind her, holding her form upwards. Her eyes staring up at the sky, the stars were blinking and shining ever so brightly.
"How long have we been waiting?"

| Noah shifted his gaze towards the body of water, contemplating. The town of Bella is on water, whilst the cultural town of Nede is on land. One on land, one on water. Both towns were created around when his father was of the council group. But his father had given up that position to settle down with a family. It'd be pretty awesome if there's a city in the air. Noah tilted his head up, peering up at the heavens above. If a city existed there, perhaps cheese would fall down from the sky. That was mildly frightening, yet amusing. He wouldn't want to be walking down the street to have a piece of cheese land on his head. How long have they been waiting for the boat?
Noah nodded at Chiiharu's questions. It's an interesting issue; at least it is to him, but then again, it could be because he possesses a philospohical brooding mind. Would someone really be happy to watch their romantically loved one marry someone else? Would they be able to smile and congratule them? To be able to see their kids, and know that those children would've, or maybe should've, been theirs in the first place? If true love indeed goes beyond romance, Noah would want to see it. He once heard a story about his parents. His father, suddenly cursed with immortality, chose to risk killing himself and getting revived, rather than to someday live longer than Teanna, to be without her. Without her...he would not want to be. If that isn't love, Noah doesn't know what is.
"Three-thousand six-hundred seconds." Truly, he has been counting each individual passing second absently. It's a way to focus his constantly dwindling mind. Noah stepped closer, and sat down. He was about a good yard away from Chiiharu, keeping his distance. Long legs stretched out, then bent at the knees so that his arms could rest upon them. There was a silence as Noah listened to the soft noise of waves upon miniscule rocks...
"Why're you scared of men?"

| Chiiharu's eyes just stayed with the night skies, watching everything with in it. The clouds slowly marching across, sliding past the moon. Sometimes the clouds that were passing by, would cross over the moon, giving off a shadows She thought the same thing as Noah, a sky city. How awesome would that be? She slightly wondered if their was one, this boy seemed to know Aenied well. Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't. If there was a town in the sky, that would be her next location. She wanted to see all of Aenied basically, starting off with the places that seemed interesting to her first. Then maybe along the line, she would visit the places that weren't so interesting to her. She titled her head over, letting her eyes slid over to his side. Looking at him, she sort of wondered what he was thinking right now.
"Hey. Noah, wouldn't it be pretty cool, if there was a town in the sky?"
This boy wasn't so bad after you got use to him. He seemed to be a good person, he hadn't tried any indecent behavior to her. And basically kept his distance liked ask, though some things could be worked on. His hand shake for one. And she started to think, it wouldn't be so bad to have a traveling partner too. And he might be one she would actually allow travel with her. He seemed to be in the need of someone to go along with him too, he was traveling alone as well. And traveling alone was indeed lonely, was it not? It would be better if two were going together, maybe she would ask about why he is traveling and where he was going first.
"So, you seem close with your family. Why are you here alone?"
Then everything stopped in her eyes. His question caught her off guard. He maybe a little too honest after all, but that was probably a good thing about him. At least he wouldn't lie to her about things. Why she was scared of men? It could be possibly because of her mother's death and her indecent encounters with them. She think slowly before answering right off. Yes, she started to realize it now, she did fear them. And she had good reasons to, before she entered Aenied some horrible stuff happened to her. Not only to her, but people around her. Should she even answer? She should tell him of her hardship? Sure, why not. The guy seemed decent enough and he had earned some of her trust.
"My answer. I don't know how to put this, but I guess I am scared of men. But with the things I've seen with my eyes, what girl wouldn't be? Before I entered Aenied, I had some rough encounters with men. You in my eyes, are lucky. You seem to have a well rounded family. I envy that. I really do. I never knew my father, so it was basically only me and my mother. I never really asked about him, nor did mother tell me about him. But our small town was peaceful, silent, but poor. It was hard to stay alive during those times. But my mother really did work hard for me."
She let out a soft sigh after some of the explaining she did. The things she was going over were indeed personal, he better be happy to even get to know most of the things she was telling or is gonna to tell him. She lifted her eyes to the sky now, her voice a bit sorrowful. This time in her life wasn't so easy to share, the one person she trusted the most. Died. She was gone, she escaped reality in a harsh way. In a way that made Chiiharu weep.
"Soon after our daily hardship of trying to get by. Bandits entered, taking whatever we had left. Me, just a child. I was so scared, but my mother hid me under the floor. I could see everything from the cracks. They busted in our home, hit my mother to the ground and took our stuff. But not only did they take those things. That was the last time I got to see my mother alive"
When she said the last part, her word seemed a little shakey, her mind was reliving the event slightly to tell him about it. Her eyes teared up a bit, maybe she shouldn't go on. But she had already started, it wouldn't make sense to just stop now, in the middle of the story.
"My mother was pleading for her life. The man raped her, beat her hard and then dragged her out of the house. I couldn't help but close my eyes afterwards, to cry and wish I could do something. Soon after I realized the house was on fire. The smoke was thick. I escaped from the floor and went out side. The whole town was burning, blood on the ground, everything ruined. And what did we do? Nothing but lived. I got to the middle of town, saw my mothers remains. Afterwards I left the town and traveled around, doing what I could to live. And, when I got older, I had some indecent encounter with males as well. But not to the point where I would call it 'rape', most likely molestation. And that is why I'm scared of men. Good enough reason, no? If not, I'm sorry I can't meet your standards."

| Noah gave a simple nod at Chiiharu's question about a town in the sky. It would be grand indeed, to look up at the sky, and see lights that signified life in the air. What to call it, though? Noah remember his father telling him the reason Aenied's cultural town is called Nede, is because it's spelt Eden backwards. His father grew up around the time Eden was crumbling, but heard many glorious stories. Stories that could horrify a man, or make him weep. These stories, some of which his father did share with Noah, but others he did not. Apparently, they were too bloody. Nede is a sort of remembrance for the glory of Eden. Eden is gone. There is nothing to do but to move on, to stoop and build something new back up with worn-out tools. His father had been one of the original creators of Aenied, but gave up his position to settle down with a family. His father's a very responsible person; he must love Teanna a lot.
"Father sent me out." Noah remember the anxiety and hesitation in his father's determined eyes the day he sent him away. It had grieved mother, aswell. But father knew better than to always keep his beloved son by his side. A man needs experience. At first, Noah had been pretty upset. He wondered why his father would thrown him to the wild. Sometimes he even doubts his father's decision, but afterwards he would assure himself that it was for the best. "To spread my wings." Maybe that was a rather obscure metaphor.
Noah's head would tilt, watching Chiiharu's reaction meticulously. Something he said had hit her. He figured she might've been through some rough experiences, or she's just inexperienced, like him. People tends to fear the unknown. Noah's thoughts would end as he obsorbed the information Chiiharu offered. At her remark about the well-rounded family, Noah creased his brows. Perhaps he does. Even though his brother is the opposite of him, well, he's pretty sure his brother cares. Noah nodded absently. He remember his father telling him about his life. He grew up with an adopted set of parents, never knowing his real ones until later in life. He had been an angry, hateful man. He thought his parents abandoned him. The issue was soon resolved upon learning the truth, but -- father still hates his father, perhaps even more-so than ever before. Thinking upon it, Noah never really had financial problems before. His father owned a smith's store, and his mother owns a restaurant. Delicious food was always promptly provided, and Noah got the best education that the money they have could possibly offer.
Images started to appear before Noah's eyes. He could see the bandits, practically barbarians, rushing into the scene. Chiiharu hiding under the floor, watching her home get destroyed, and her mother attacked. Noah could almost imagine himself in that situation. From both sides of his family, he inherited some sort of .. un'natural powers. Upon getting angry or extremely upset, they would come loose, and cause utter demolition. That also worried his parents, since they too had problems in their youth with control.
She's shaking. His keen eyes locked against hers, noting the tiny amount of tears. Noah was shocked to hear her mother getting raped. He never really witnessed that. His mother and father, always so willing to touch each other.. Noah walked in on them once, and what he saw was part mesmerizing, and part .. uncomfortable. He could not possibly imagine someone having such an act forced upon them. The feeling of powerlessness..
"People weep from lack of power; they make others weep when they possess it." It seems to him that each thing he says sound vague, espicially when his voice is so steady, yet thoughtful. "Meet my standards... Why?" Noah blinked, curly eyelashes fluttering. He never tried to meet anyone's standards save for his own family's. But that's because he loves them. Chiiharu does not love him. So she should not even want or try to meet his standards.
"Grandfather -- abandoned grandmother." Noah paused, thinking back. "Says he won't but he did." Then he thought of his own father. "Father didn't abandone mother -- others criticized his decision." He tried to construct clearer sentences, "He's not grandfather. Never will... Father didn't have father to idolize." The last words were an audible whisper, "His own hero is him."
Then Noah turned abruptly to face Chiiharu, melancholic hues stared at her, "Be your own -- hero." ..Or is it heroine?

| Chiiharu was partly shocked to hear some of his family problems. But it was probably just something to say all people have their problems, but you can only make things right by moving on. She was partly happy, he was starting to open up some to her. She was to him too, maybe this would be a good friendship to form, he seem like a nice guy. Even though some of his words were harsh at the start, which made her mad. But now she was starting to calm down and feel at ease. Her hand reached up to wipe the tears from her eyes, returning to her first composure. Listening to how his grandfather left his grandmother.
She gave him a sorrowful look, it was like when her father had left her mother. The pain of losing someone so dear to you. It hurt for a long time, which seemed like forever, but it wasn't forever. But the pain made it seem that way. She was glad that his father didn't leave his mother. That would be a heart breaking situation, all though she couldn't image it, besides using her father as an example for it. She hadn't had a relationship or a love before, so it was way over her head.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Noeh."
That was the only response she could give to him, for she didn't really know much on that subject about his family. Anyways, it was probably about time for the boat right? She raised up from the ground, dusting herself off. She wondered what he was gonna do after this, head on over to Bella? Would the two depart from here? She hadn't known him long, but he gave her the satisfaction of not being alone, that was for sure. Being alone was sad and hard to deal with for her anyways. But that was all she could do, she had no one to travel with. And so, this would be her only chance to not be alone. She wouldn't ask to travel around together, it would be awkward. The two were still strangers to one another, that question was simply out.
(OOC) I'm so so sorry. I lost the link to Aenied and had other things to deal with irl. So so sorry for the really late post!!! x.X)
